Motivation: Greed and hedonism, plain and simple. Can't stop won't stop because stopping means remembering and reflecting on the existential dread that is being a Mordesh.
Personality: Caroline despises slow periods. She has to keep working, partying, or partaking in whatever pleasure of the flesh. She's terrible with money mostly because she blows it all as fast as she gets it to keep herself busy or otherwise distracted.
History Overview: Caroline was a child when the Long Night began. But she grew, she learned, she became a master of sneaking around, and she survived. Acting as a runner who retrieved goods and materials from the outside for the settlement she was a part of that was awaiting Exile evacuation. This was around the time that she learned of her inherent spellslinger powers, namely how to gate and how to void slip. So she made it a point to train with the tools of the trade as soon as she got a chance.
Caroline's seen a few different Ravenous outbreaks since Grismara. In one of them, she lost her long-time girlfriend who'd originally given her her nickname. So that was some nice trauma to make her similarly terrified of commitment from then on. Today she largely avoids concentrations of her own kind as a result. Now here on Nexus, she's come to work for the Greysky Syndicate. Doing her freelance work on the side.
Faction Opinion: Caroline despises the Dominion for their response to the Contagion but does take great satisfaction from occasionally being hired by members of the Dominion to steal trinkets and treasures from their own. The only jobs she turns down are generally jobs looking to transfer goods from Exiles to Dommies.
