About

Appearance

Konflict is a large reptile-like (8’9”) goddess with a centaur body plan, giving her six limbs; two arms and four legs. Her skin is smooth like a frog’s and pale teal with mottled markings of two darker shades of teal. She has red spots running down her limbs and back. She had short fluffy purple hair. Her face has a built-in glass-like visor that acts as her eyes, having black pupils rings with glowing cyan. She had three curved purple lighting rod spikes on her back with red spheres on their tips. Her tail holds a large pronged pair of spikes which always crackle with electricity.

Her casual clothing consists of a mantle, a cloak draped across her back and a spandex-like leotard, all in a dark blue and cyan gradient. She wears purple semi-transparent sleeves with silver bands ornamented with a teal gem on her limbs. At the base of her tail, she wears the same style of band. Occasionally, she wears silver armor but as of late, this is rare.

Personality

Konflict is a hard person to be close to, as she is known as a snappy and hard-to-approach deity. She’s independent and as a result, is hard to predict, perfect for her nature. She’s loud and brash, not taking no for an answer. Those few close to her describe her as the stereotypical big sister: tough, teasing but fiercely protective.

History

Along with Matka, Konflict is one of the goddesses of Cyberspace, being the goddess of chaos, change and instability. For a time, her and her sister lived in harmony as they shaped the landscape of Cyberspace. However, as they were opposites, they were always destined to clash and clash they did. The cycle would be that they’d clash then make up only to clash again later. After one such fight, they retired to do projects on their own. Konflict’s was the creation of glitches, people that were chaotic and unstable.

When her people and Matka’s, the Cyberpeople, met, they found themselves unable to be around the other. The glitches’ mere presence hurt the Cyberpeople but the Cyberpeople made no attempt to stay away. Seeing her people hurting, Konflict demanded Matka change her people who demanded the same. Neither was willing to budge and it seemed all that they created may be destroyed.

In a rare moment of cooperation, they decided to create an ambassador. Each took the best parts of themselves and put it into a new entity who they titled The Limbo Prince. Stuck between two conflicting natures and needed to learn to walk the thin line between them. The goddesses would try to say that he went mad, donned a silver crown and ran wild but the truth was kinder to him.

Galvan earned the people of Cyberspace’s respect and love quickly, showing them how to be together in harmony. The goddesses grew jealous but Konflict was hesitant to punish him, as he was doing his job, albeit too well. However, after a bid of attention when he stole a trinket from them, Matka proposed the plan to seal him away. They ambushed him and tossed him into a hole within the fabric of the world, leaving him there.

In the time since, they have not been able to garner the worship they once did. Konflict has sadly accepted this and withdrawn to save what power she has left. But Galvan has returned and this concerns her.

Skills

Even with her waning powers, Konflict has a lot of power at her disposal.

She can manipulate electricity and technology to a degree but has the easiest time dealing with glitches and the like. She can create small constructs easily and larger ones with concentration. She can form balls of energy, mainly for combat. She can commune telepathically and often does.

If harmed, she has a regeneration factor, able to come back from damaging wounds. Grievous ones are possible to bounce back from but it takes a lot of time. A bad enough mangling could dispel her physical form and with her waning power, its unlikely she’d be able to reform.

She can change her appearance but sticks to her default centaur form as it is easiest to maintain.

Trivia

  • Konflict was first created in 2015 to explain the origins of LP as his creator. Shortly after, she was placed into an original story based off an AU. Said original story got dissolved but the AU still exists.
  • Konflict comes from a corruption for the Polish word for conflict, ‘konflikt’.
