Shiroyuki poisoned his mother when he was born and became an orphan. The orphanage's kids and caretakers avoided and shamed him due to his poisonous body. As a result, he became a chaotic, crazy boy. Eventually the orphanage secretly kicked him out to the streets, where he lived homeless for quite a while. He survived by stealing food but stopped when the shops got more secure and his crimes were reported to the pawlice. Starved, he resorted to cannibalism and attempted to eat another Sprinkit. He got caught and was submitted to an asylum. After a while, he managed to escape and hide from the pawlice. He was found and taken in by a doctor living in the slums, Claude, who took interest in Shiroyuki's melty body.

He talks in a loud, clear voice, and always has a grin or open mouth smile plastered on his face.

Shiroyuki is a hall monitor (member of the disciplinary committee) in high school infamous for its delinquents. He wears a white gakuran uniform and carries around a giant red knife for punishing rule breakers. Still innocent and gullible, he follows the orders of his corrupt superiors in the name of order and peace. Although he attends class, he still fails tests and needs to attend remedial classes.

His poison cannot be contained as a suppressant doesn’t exist. After escaping the orphanage, he succumbs to hunger and resorts to cannibalism. After having his first taste of kit meat, he craves more. Hiding in the dark alleys of the slums, he preys on unfortunate victims, poisoning them to death with his toxic breath. For the tougher ones, he finishes the job with his knife. If you listen closely during the quiet of the night, you can hear the name “Poison Apple” in hushed whispers.
