- Budgie will often talk to the wind as if it is a living thing. No one can really tell if it truly is or not...
- Budgie has chromesthesia, a type of synesthesia that causes him to see colors whenever he hears a sound. He absolutely loves all the colors he sees and will often associate people with the most prominent ones he sees around them.
- He can play almost any kind of woodwind instrument. His favorite is the flute, and he carries a special crystal flute with him everywhere.
Relationships
Kestra [ mother ]
Budgie's is a huge mama's boy and loves his mother to pieces. He helps her out around the Sanctuary and does whatever he can to stay on her good side. After being transported away from home, Budgie misses her dearly.
Calypte [ grandfather ]
Budgie loves his grandfather and enjoys spending time with him high up in the Sanctuary's main tree. He absolutely adores Calypte's stories, especially the ones about the knights and the stars.
Virgil [ cousin ]
Virgil and Budgie grew up together at the Sanctuary, spending a lot of time hanging out together. Budgie sees him as his "cousin" of sorts, since their families are so close that it feels like they're family. While Virgil's curiosity makes his head spin sometimes, Budgie doesn't mind listening to him ramble. He tries as best he can to help Virgil connect some of the dots in his head as much as possible. After getting transported from their home, Budgie tends to hang out with Virgil the most out of everyone.
Jekyll [ planet buddy ]
Budgie thinks Jekyll is a lot like Virgil, and that is why he has quickly taken a liking to her. While he doesn't understand much of what she is talking about, he does trust her and what she is doing. The fact that they are linked together by destiny and a giant storm griffon may have helped with that too.
