BACKGROUND
CHILDHOOD
Aldis and his family were cursed when he was young. His parents didn't make it, but he was saved by a knight, Eliane, and a mage, Piemi.
For various reasons, Eliane was forced to take him in as an adoptive son & protégé.
TEENS
Aldis lived with Eliane, training to be a knight. He was (and is still) not especially good at it.
Despite Eliane's personality being VERY unsuited towards raising a child, they managed to gradually form a bond.
They were eventually separated in a way that I'm not going to go into because [Spoilers]. But anyway, Aldis spent most of his late teens believing she's dead.
ADULTHOOD
Aldis was working full-time as a knight and really, really hated it!
Then he meets En, and that's when the story begins!

- His natural hair color isn't white.
SKILLS
- Disposition of a Hero (passive): Aldis is a type of human who has been "blessed by god" to fight in holy wars. He is practically invulnerable to harm, and is unnaturally strong. (He didn't like his job though, so now he's a house-husband.)
Cooking (active): He's good at it.
Unnaturally good with animals (passive): Wild animals don't get scared around him at all. Stoke thinks its because he's so stiff & quiet they mistaken him for an inanimate object.
RELATIONSHIPS
Enjoys En's company to such a degree that he probably wouldn't know how to put it into words.
Doesn't understand her sense of humor most of the time, but supports her comedic endeavors.
He considers her his mother as well, though she might be uncomfortable hearing that. He misses her a great deal too.
