Planned Timeline:

2. Maji and another rogue have a fling
- Having lived by herself for so long, it's not hard to understand why Maji would be so easily enticed by a stranger. After a few days together, the rogue disappeared. Maji found out a while later, to her surprise, that the encounter had left her pregnant.
3. Maji suffers a miscarriage
4. Maji meets a water demon
- When traveling by the river side, Maji encountered a water demon. Though she was wary, her compassion for someone else who seemed just as lonely as her won out, and she ended up staying around the area that the water demon lived in, believing she was befriending it and enjoying having someone to talk to.
5. Maji is possessed by the water demon and loses her memory
- Only a little while into their friendship, the water demon asked Maji for help, and in her kindness, Maji agreed. The agreement was all it took for the water demon to possess her, and in the process, made her lose all of her memories.
6. Maji joins the Isle of Roses

Into the Unknown from Frozen 2 - Maji quite literally has heard the siren song in her ears, thanks to the water demon that once possessed her. It has entranced her, and even when she sleeps, she is sometimes unable to escape the call it has on her as it tries to pull her back. It is Kusafiri's presence and protection that has kept her from following it, for if she does, she is not sure she will ever be able to return. She doesn't even know where she would be following it to. She wants to ignore and dismiss it, but she knows that it is far more sinister than a simple whisper on the winds.
