When Galar would receive a new champion after their old one lost, they never thought they would end up with three successful individuals that will help Galar ascend beyond what it originally was. With Katsu being the new champion, Red stepping in as the occasional challenger in the Battle Tower, and Leon being the chairman, the three became the power triad of the region. The three always finds ways to bring out the best out of the other and keeps the other in check since they know what makes the other tick. Red helps manages Katsu's anger, and Leon push Katsu to overcome his introverted nature in order for him to get what he needs done that requires interacting with those he's not used to talking to. Katsu helps Leon discover more of himself (now that he is no longer under the thumb of Rose), and Red pushes the male to talk about his feelings instead of keeping them tuck within him. Katsu and Leon together helps Red feel like he has a place he calls home and make him feel loved. While there are times where they may bump heads, they will always find a way to push through whatever problems that stumble onto their path in order to move on. For them, they carry the common goal of making Galar into one of the best regions around.

The Story from Katsu's Eyes

When Katsu first saw Leon, he wasn't a fan of him. He never thought that Galar's champion was a gaudy, corny man that came packaged with a ridiculous outfit and pose. It's no surprise that the two bumped heads pretty often during the year that Katsu spent in Galar upon moving into it. Katsu often enjoyed making jabs at Leon's garb and how the male tends to act. To him, he was a child dressing up as a king that wanted to be a superhero to all he met. He was so set on not growing up that it was amusing. However, it was during that year after he moved to Galar and during his Pokemon journey that Katsu realized that Leon carried so much weight on his shoulders. It wasn't that Leon wasn't set on growing up. It was more so that he wanted to do everything in his power to bring happiness and hope to region he was raised in. He carried the curse of being the figure that people look up to and had to do everything he can to be a model. As a result of that, the male sacrifice who he is as a person to become the guy he feels that he has to for Galar's sake since he fears being his true self is only going to harm Galar's image and trust in him. The more Katsu looked at him, the more he realized that Leon was deeply traumatized but refused to show (or admit) it. This was a man who witness one of his Pokemon nearly get killed and gradually dealt with the pressure of being a champion. He witnesssed his best friend (Sonia) quit the Gym Challenge and never received a explanation as to why while watching as their relationship become distant over the years. He became something that he truly never wanted to be. Seeing this made Katsu so determined to become the Galar champion in order for Leon to no longer to deal with the pressure society pushed onto him and can have the chance to sit down to process his trauma. He wanted the male to have the chance to be who he wanted to be without bending the knee for others.

When it came to Red, Katsu heard the stories about the male. I mean he was the strongest trainers around. From what he knew, Red was a quiet trainer from Kanto managed to sweep across regions, defeating every Champion that walked his path. There are very few who actually managed to defeat him. However, most don't know the fact that Red himself is the first thrall, and specfically the thrall of Mew. Considering that Mew was the mother/father of Giratina, it was no shock that the two of them would end up crossing paths. Their meeting would occur sometime around the events of USUM where Red was taking a vacation with Blue while working at the Battle Tree. Katsu, who had been visiting at the time, would meet Red and the two would become acquaintances. It would be years later where they would end up seeing each other in the region of Galar. After a quiet exchange, Red would end up traveling with Katsu. Katsu knew that Red himself was a traumatized man. I mean he was the hero of Kanto (much like how he was a hero of Sinnoh). They been through things that children shouldn't have to deal. However, no one told him that Red had a strange charm to him. He carried a form of naivety with the world with the way he approach problems and people. They both bond over their love for Pokemon, and their desire to avoid social interactions. They don't personally see each other as being heroes since they felt they didn't fit that standard. Perhaps that's why it was so easy for Katsu to be himself around the male. He knew that Red wasn't going to judge him for whatever he said and did since in a way...he knew why he felt the way he did. It was quite comforting.

It took the fight that Katsu had with Leon in Stow-in-Side to realize that he was in love with Leon and Red. At first, he didn't want to think about that being the case until he realized it explained the awkwardness he felt after their one night stand. Every since that night, he found himself constantly thinking about the nature of their relatonship. He found it harder to simply regard Leon as being a annoying pest and Red as someone who understand his trauma. There was something more to them, and he found himself craving to see more of it. Instead of desperately trying to escape his desire to love them, he allowed himself to fall deeper in love with them. This was the first time he ever felt love like this, and it was a addicting feeling. He was always so set on avoiding romantic love since it was something he knew would hurt him later all in life if he were to outlive his partner. After all, he was a thrall. Thralls were essentially immortal. That and he wasn't even sure that Red cared to be in a relationship with him despite being a thrall himself. Even with that knowledge, that didn't stop from wanting to experience the emotion. A aching need for Leon and Red pushed Katsu into confessing his feelings for the two of them after he apologized for his actions. The fear of Leon and Red denying his confession did haunt him...however, it went away the second that Leon and Red accepted them and admitted similar feelings for the male. They would spend their years together, taking the time to make sense of their love for the other. There has been many things that stood in their path that shook the nature of their relationship such as Leon learning about Katsu being a thrall, Leon himself becoming one and Red getting used to the idea that he wasn't just some third wheel between them. However, they would push through these troubles as their bond would grow stronger. It would be only a few years later that Katsu would be the one to propose to Leon and Red after the three spent their time in the Crown Tundra. With the three of them together, they would spend their years working together as the Chairman, Champion and occasional challenger of the Battle Tower/main caretaker of the Postwick Sanctuary while taking a break to work on their farm.

Being a thrall isn't the worse thing to deal with. At least if you ask Red. He enjoyed his job as a thrall as it meant working for Mew. He didn't really care about being in a relationship or even the nature of what comes with the immortality of being a thrall. Red himself like to limit the number of bonds he had. Unless they were workers, family, a selective few friends and even the thralls, he didn't really care too much about people. He would tolerate them, but he wouldn't go out of his way of seeking them. That certainly made his care for Leon quite odd. When he first heard about Leon, he was amused to learn that the male looked up to him despite them being around the same age. With the way his eyes sparkle when he stare at him and the dramatic way he presents himself, Red couldn't help but think of Leon as being akin to a Arcanine. He was wild but had the charisma that manage to even impress him. However, deep in his eyes, he saw how hard he worked to get where he was. He saw how much pressure and stress he was under because honestly that was the reason why he briefly left Kanto. It was simply just too much for him at the time that he ended up just taking a break from life. It's why he offered his advice towards the male in hopes of trying to help him in some way. However, the more he did this, the more interested he became at getting to know him. What secrets did he hold...and what can Red do to try to solve him? He wasn't sure what, but much like Katsu, he was seeking ways to get the male to open up about him so he is able to save him from further destroying himself. It's a painful process espesically with Red not being the most social in the world. However, he was trying his hardest to push through that. However, the whole experience had lead him to feel things he never felt in so long and thought..he would never feel.

Red knew about Katsu for a number of years now. Being the thrall of Eden the Mew, it's impossible for him not with Katsu's legend being the son of Eden. As such, Red often listens to the God ramble about the nature of Giratina's and Katsu's relationship. It was something that she had been worried about since it wasn't the most healthiest in the world. It was no shock that the two of them would end up crossing paths. Now Red did understand why he felt that was the case, he always finds ways to push Katsu into accepting that he wasn't as bad as he believed. He didn't need to be a hero to be a good person. After all, good is different depending on who you are. In Red's eyes, Katsu was one of the most selfless person he ever met as he always put others before himself. In some cases, it can be a tad bit unhealthy, but it was always one of those things that Red always thought about. It's why Red was willing to do whatever it takes to convince him that he wasn't some coldhearted bastard. Underneath the walls he put up is someone who wants to do everything he can to make everyone around him happy and safe since that's what honestly makes him happy with life.

Red realized he was in love with Katsu and Leon when he talked to Leon about the fight he had with Katsu. It was originally meant to stop himself from taking most of the blame of what occured. However, the more he talked to Leon, the more he realized he hated how hurt the two of them were from the fight. Their argument was something that was built off of rising tension from the one night stand and the stress that came with the Galar Cup. It was then that Red realized he wanted to be there for both of them. He wanted to make them happy. He wanted to be with thme so he can hold them in his arms and tell them it was ok. He wanted to be there for them at all cost. Hell, he was willing to drop his life in Kanto just so he can spend every moment with them. It was there that Red realized that he was in love with both Katsu and Leon...and he wasn't sure what to do about it. Then...his world would changed when Katsu would apologize to Leon about his words and eventually confess his feelings for him and Red. In that very moment, Red felt a level of bliss that ascended higher than anything that came into his life. It was a euphoria that he wanted to indulge. They would spend their years together, taking the time to make sense of their love for the other. There has been many things that stood in their path that shook the nature of their relationship such as trying to find out ways where all of them would feel equally love by all members. However, they would push through these troubles as their bond would grow stronger. It would be only a few years later that Katsu would be the one to propose to Leon and Red after the three spent their time in the Crown Tundra. The Story from Leon's Eyes

Katsu reminded Leon of Raihan when he first met him. He was rough around the edges but carried a strong passion for fighting that could be easily seen through the ways he commanded his Pokemon. While he wasn't much of a people person, that didn't stop Leon from doing what he can to befriend the male. it was nice to have someone who wasn't being a yes man for the sake of getting on his good side. He needed someone that was willing to call him out so he knew how to improve in life. The more that Leon got to know Katsu, the more Leon realized that Katsu was a complicated man. While he was set on pushing away others, he knew it was because he personallty felt that was for the best. The male wanted to keep a smaller circle of people he cared about due to fearing that he may lose them and not wanting to risk opening his emotions to those who may not be able to handle it. Katsu's emotions are something that the male himself fear due to the number of headaches it can cause and the fact that once he gets emotional, it's harder for him to calm down. For that reasoning, Leon sought out understanding why Katsu was the way he is and be able to see a side of him he keeps so limited. He wanted to show Katsu that being emotional is just as valid as being unemotional. The more he got closer to him, the more he saw Katsu wasn't the asshole he presented himself as being to the world. He saw the soft side to the male that made Leon feel so much ease around him. He saw the determination in his eyes as he did whatever he can in his power to make his loved ones feel happy and safe. It didn't matter what it was. He wanted to have those people have their happy endings. It often makes Leon thinks of one thing every time he has the chance to see and talk to the male: Could Katsu perhaps give him a happy ending?

It's weird to think that Leon would look up to someone who was a mere year older than him. It's something that Leon would admit on a daily basis whenever he talks about Red. He can't help it! Red sparked that desire within him to become a champion and (while it did came with its problems) is something he appreciates. He always finds himself trying to follow whatever adventures he went on as he was so curious about the plans that Red had. What was he doing in Alola? What about Unova? Wait...he was in Johto? However, nothing could prepared Leon to meet his idol in person when Rose managed to snag a sponsorship with the Indigo League and the fact that he would be working with him during his time within Galar. However, this childish adoration would become one of understanding when the two would share similar complaints about what it meant to be a champion and the annoyance that came with him. There was also that relief that Leon felt at knowing that he finally had someone who understood what he went though. In a way, this allowed Leon to gain a higher level of respect for Red and see why he made the decisions he made. Most of it was partially a means to get away from everything and see what the other region had that Kanto don't. In a way, it's something that Leon seeked to do at some point when he isn't tangled in Galar's League. He wanted that opporunity to see the world and have the chance to live in...and why he couldn't do that he was happy that Red was willing to indulge his curosity. Honestly, Red allowed Leon to be able to be himself without the need of being judged. It's something he rarely gets.

Leon realized that he was in love with Katsu and Red after his one night stand with the two in Motostoke. He should have seen the signs of it during Katsu's first year in Galar and the joy he felt from being with Red. He should have been more careful since he knew how quickly he was able to fall in love with someone that showed him a ounce of affection. It was something that Raihan often warned him about on a daily basis. So here he was, suffering the consequences of falling in love with two men that he didn't knew even cared about love. It certainly didn't help that their relationship at that time wasn't the best espesically after the argument between himself and Katsu in Stow-in-Side. The male find himself falling deep into melancholy over the prospect of ruining what could have been a decent friendship with his own feelings. However, that would changed when Katsu would apologize to him about his words and eventually confess his feelings for him and Red. Years of dealing with being a champion and the idea of being a perfect man became nothing as he was able to find a new form of happiness that he has been seeking for so long. It was one of the pure things in life that he was acteively seeking since it been so long that he had it and it was the light he needed for the tunnel of his darker thoughts. They would spend their years together, taking the time to make sense of their love for the other. There has been many things that stood in their path that shook the nature of their relationship such as Katsu getting seriously hurt by Eternatus, Red trying to find his purpose in Galar and Leon adapting to being the new chairman. However, they would push through these troubles as their bond would grow stronger. It would be only a few years later that Katsu would be the one to propose to Leon and Red after the two spent their time in the Crown Tundra. With the three of them together, they would spend their years working together as the Chairman, Champion and occasional challenger of the Battle Tower/main caretaker of the Postwick Sanctuary while taking a break to work on their farm.

• The original name for 'Wildkatz' (ship with Leon/Katsu) came from Clow and is meant to be play off of wildcats as both Leon and Katsu have cat-themed name (as well as Red's connection with Mew). With the addition of Red, the ship became CrimsonWildKatz due to Red's nickname. I also thank BigGayFish for the this new name alongside Clow.
  • Honestly, the use of crimson works considering the fact the the three typically have something red on their bodies, whether it be clothes (or hair in Katsu's case).
• This ship wasn't originally Leon/OC/Red ship. In fact, this ship was originally a Leon/OC ship. The reason I changed it is due to the fact I was interested in exploring a polyamorous relationships between three characters who brought different aspects to the relationship. Thankfully, I did take the time to work out a timeline when it came to the Pokemon games in the verse the three were in prior to this.
  • Honestly, this was a ship I was thinking about for a while and I didn't really think to indulge it because I wasn't sure if it was fitting until I put some thought into it.
• Every once in the while, Katsu styles Leon's hair whenever Leon ask him to do so. Leon uses it as a excuse to avoid having his mother do his hair as Leon is tender-headed and he cites that she's not gentle with his hair. That latter part is something that Leon's mother claims is not the case at all. Is she being truthful? Who knows.
  • Katsu also occasionally does Red's hair (though Red is often a bit stubborn about letting him do it). Both Red and Leon comment about often falling asleep whenever Katsu styles their hair. It doesn't help that Katsu often sings a soft melody as he does so.
• Katsu and Red doesn't often do PDA unless it's to calm each other down (or Leon). Though occasionally, Katsu does it as a means to get people to back off flirting with his partners.
• This image best summarize their relationships with Katsu being the cat and Leon and Red being the dogs.
• At the moment, Katsu, Red and Leon are debating having children. This is partially due to the fact the three are essentially immortal and fear during with the idea of their child dying before them.
  • There is a chance of that changing at some point with these three: Victor, Diego and Torashi.
• If you ask them "who wear the pants of the relationship", they wouldn't answer the question as the three of them take charge in various ways and often enjoy making decisions together.
• Surprisingly enough, this ship hasn't destroyed the plans I had for the stories these three would appear in. In fact, all I have to do is make a few tweaks when it comes to it.
• It took these three weeks to figure out they wish to handle last names when they got engaged. In the end, the three would take Katsu's and Leon's last name and combined them.
