Basics
Marcel is the chipper chef of his and Eike's lodge. Even though Eike takes care of front desk and guest check-in duties, Marcel is a tad easier to approach and tends to make idle chit-chat with various guests. When he's not busy cooking, he often stands outside to lead new guests inside and give a warmer first impression to people.

About
The Winter Woods lodge was set up by the satyr duo in order to uphold peace in the forests in the immediate surroundings. It provides a shelter for lost or disoriented travelers and to protect them from the magical beasts who lurk within. Marcel is the chef of the lodge, as well as protector. He generally stands outside, not only to guide guests inside, but to keep guard and make any stray beasts (magical or otherwise) back off. He's quite proficient in combat and much stronger than first impressions may imply.
Trivia
He's quite talented in magic and enchants guests' food to provide protections from the beasts that lurk in the forests. He refers to this as 'food magic'.
His enchantments usually make the food taste extra good. Usually.
He is actually several centuries old. He's only slightly older than Eike.
He has a somewhat archaic way of speaking, perhaps due to his age.
The beasts that lurk in the forest are very scared of him and all but the most brave run at the sight of him.
His favorite things to cook are different kinds of soups and stews as well as baked goods, especially cakes.
Marcel often talks to guests and they don't usually mind but he tends to ask often if they want any food. Eventually guests have to get Eike to step in to tell Marcel to leave them alone.
Guests frequently like rabbit stew and request it often. Marcel utterly depises preparing rabbit for cooking, and he sometimes wonders if some guests are just trying to get back at him for something he did, but none of them actually know he hates preparing it.
Marcel seems to be bit more cool-headed than Eike. While he's better at keeping calm in stressful situations, he has a relatively short temper.
While very few guests have mistaken him for a girl, mainly due to either having met him before or his surprisingly deep voice, it has happened once or twice. In the early days of the lodge there was an incident involving Marcel breaking someone's nose for mistaking him for a girl, but it's never been confirmed.
He likes the cold much more than Eike does, but his hair/fur isn't quite as good at keeping him warm.
