Other kids at Flare's school tend to be afraid of him, and many rumors suggest that he's actually some sort of ghost or vampire. Many also think of him as a delinquent, but he's actually very dedicated and has some of the top grades in all his classes, and has never once skipped school. He's often very deadpan and quiet, which doesn't help the rumors about him.

Flare met Nora outside of GrizzCo., and recognized her as a dropout from school. Has been trying to get her to come back, and made friends with her in the process. He likes her, but isn't sure how to tell her.

One of the regulars that visits the shop Flare works at, they now recognize each other and frequently talk about music.
