About
When her mum suddenly dies in a mysterious house fire, Siobhán is forced to relocate from Ipswich to Ireland to live with an Aunt she's only ever heard of in passing. Her first few days spent at the Neverwood Estate begin to reveal secrets behind the seemingly normal facade of The Neverwood, a private forest barred from the property by a looming iron fence.
She comes to realize that things are not as they seem, and diligently documents her findings in her sketchbook. Little does she know, her last name holds far more significance in meaning than "Lover of Hounds." Her ancestral line extends to the original O'Connors of the Neverwood Estate, a group of ruthless Faerie Hunters that got mixed up with the wrong Court. Carman, an ancient forest witch, is hellbent on acquiring Siobhán's willingly given blood so she can be freed from the vessel that binds her to the earth, and plunge Ireland into an eternal midnight winter, despite a great prophecy forewarning her of her demise.
