Jesse is the second oldest Draki brother, Mike being the only one older. He was chosen to be the Draki heir by Lenny after Mike made one mistake.

Cats are attracted to him, and have been since before he was born, he has a pet cat named Athena in '58, who he adores.

He was rather neglected as a kid, their mother always being busy and their dad never really caring about any of them except to turn them into his perfect minions, so he was incredibly lonely.
In a bout of boredom, he pushed Mike down the stairs when he was nine, Mike getting a scar from it down his nose.
Jesse was put into a mental ward for a few months, including his birthday, where he underwent shock therapy which left lasting damage on him, giving him anxiety, paranoia, hypersomnia for a while, and some memory issues.
His mother pulled him out when he was ten because they were going to try and give him a lobotomy, and having done them herself as torture, she was NOT about to let them do that to her son.
Doctors harassed him on the streets for two years until a local cop saw one following him around when he was twelve and told his uncle Sergio, who immediately took that bastard to court and had his license revoked.

His uncle Tyoma moved to the states not long later, and he quickly became close with both him and his cousin Andrei (SheepyWolf's character). He quickly bonded with them because again, he had no real good father figure.
He also bonded with the Diodato patriarch Richard from a very young age, but of course couldn't see him nearly as often given he lived in Washington. It was Rich who encouraged his pursuit of an education in anatomy, hoping for a bright future for the kid.

Unfortunately, that father issue REALLY bit him in the ass.
When he was fourteen, his girlfriend Jenny committed suicide, and it was blamed on him because he's a Draki, in reality he was the most busted up over it, and they were making it worse.
Lionel Morandi reached out to him, and he went to him.
At fourteen-years-old, Jesse Draki became a rapist, violating Jenny's best friend because she was the one who pushed her to suicide. All in Lionel's manor.
He continued to help Lionel break girls in the basement, but didn't attack anyone outside the manor yet.
The girl's name was Hellen, and in order to torture her more Lionel made her carry Jesse's child, without him knowing.
When the boy was born, she tried to slit his throat, but Lionel found her and saved the baby in time, giving the child to Jesse's other uncle Karp, Tyo's brother, and instructing him not to tell anyone until the boy was 13. His name is Charles.

When Jesse was seventeen, he cornered a nurse who'd taken care of him after he broke his arm and spent time in the hospital, but instead of being afraid, she invited him back home-
The result was his OTHER son, Giovanni. Kayla was told she'd never have children, so she was overjoyed, but never bothered Jesse, not wanting to have him around their son.
Especially given she had found another man.

Jesse had started helping Regis Morandi rape girls and guys he fancied in middle school up through high school (Jesse never touched the minors himself, but he'd help corner them and keep watch). Jesse was 20 when he started helping Reggie do this.
When he was 23, Caelius was attacked by Silvio, someone Jesse had also been somewhat close with, and that snapped him out of it.
This made Jesse take a step back, as well as Regis.
They both agreed to stop seeing one another, and to stop attacking people.
And both agreed that Silvio was a bastard.
He mostly stopped seeing Lionel at this point, but still occasionally visits him for snuggles and a nice night when he's incredibly lonely.
Because at this point, he has no one.
Tyoma tried to make him stop seeing Lionel in the first place, so he was scared to face him, he "knew" his brothers despised him, same with his cousin, so he became a bit of a recluse.
Until Tyo and Andrei approached him and hugged him, begging him to never do that again.
Jesse sobbed and agreed, but he's still paranoid that all of them hate him.

At twenty-five he starts to really get his shit together, and starts calling more and more of the shots for the family, overstepping Lenny's orders more than a few times.
But in order to prove his loyalty, Lenny orders him to tell Mike to kill Chester, and not tell ANY Of the other brothers until after it's done.
Jesse 'agrees'.
What he really does is tell Luke, and tells him "Do what you do... and don't tell anyone I told you."
This leads to Chester escaping with his life, but Jesse doesn't know if he makes it. He can only hope.

A year later, he and Luke plot to kill Lenny as the man is slipping further into madness and has been abusing them long enough.
In the process, Luke informs Jesse that Chester has indeed lived, and Jesse hugs Luke tight as a vice, squeaking happily before kissing Regis in front of his father to proclaim he is everything the man hates, and always will be, from bisexual to simply kind to his family.
Lenny dies snarling.

Later that year, he marries Sapphire Morandi, and a few years after that, the pair have twins, Jesse Jr. and Lily. JJ was not his name idea.
Then another two years later, they have triplets.

In the 70's, an old secret of Jesse's comes back to haunt him, and he ends up in jail, the family 'dissolving' to keep them safe from South Street.
And it's up to Chester and the missing Mike to clear his name and break him out... maybe not in that order.
