Momo (Beyblade version) (Plot)

Childhood

Momo, originally named "Fatima Al Mansouri", was born in Morocco and was the only child of a kinda wealthy Moroccan couple. At the age of 5 she got lost on the African savanna during a trip with her parents, but she was saved by a clan of hyenas (as she got lost on their territory) and accepted as one of their own.

When she got lost, her parents looked for her for a while, but when they found a small piece of her dress covered in blood (wich wasn't her blood, but the blood of a leopard the hyenas attacked for invading their territory) they assumed she was devoured by hyenas, as the locals told them these animals tend to eat everything including the bones, and so they stopped looking for her child and returned completely heartbroken to their country of origin; in reality, she was still alive and was actually saved by a clan of hyenas from getting attacked by another wild animal. Little Momo and the hyenas's clan leader (a hyena that later she will call "Mama") had some kind of "connection" and this hyena's maternal instincts led her to take Fatima and adopt her as her own "cub", pretty much turning into her new "mom". For a while, little Fatima patiently waited for her parents and thought they where going to find her some day, but since it never happened she thought they abandoned her on purpose and developed a grudge against them. From that moment on, she decided to embrace the new life that was offered to her and completely forget about her old life and her old self; she gave up to her old name and renamed herself as "Momo" and embraced as well her new life as a "hyena". Momo grew up with her "hyena family" and even though it was really difficult to adapt to the clan as well as survive in the wild savanna, she gained a place on the clan and the respect of her fellow hyena "siblings". Living on the savanna and with hyenas changed her innocent and spoiled personality and she became a more fierce, bold and dominat person, also the hard conditions of the savanna helped her to develop a lot of physical strenght, agility, tracking and hunting skills. Momo grew to love her hyena family wholeheartedly and developed a very strong bond with "Mama" (her adoptive hyena mother), who she claims is and forever will be her one and only mother.

Even though Momo grew up with the hyenas, she also kept in touch with the tribes/villages that lived near by, thus helping her to keep most of her human nature and preventing her to become a complete "savage". Keeping in touch with these villages helped her to learn some valuables stuffs (medicinal herbs, first aids, information about plants and fruits, how to cook, etc), as well as introduce her to Beyblade; she saw the kids on these villages playing Beyblade and got interested on the sport. Initially when she got her first Beyblade (Storm Raven) she used to train in the savanna and occasionally challenged the kids of the villages, wich used to run away from her as she was a pretty aggressive blader.

Once she became a blader, she sadly started to frequent the wrong people. Some bandit bladers had the nasty habit to steal the beyblades of each opponent they defeated to later sell them on the black market; Momo saw this practice and started to do it as well, once she saw it gave her enough money to survive she kept doing it and slowly gained a reputation in the black market. Once she became skilled at it, she started to dedicate herself solely to steal rare Beyblades to gain even more money, and like this she became somewhat famous in the black market of Beyblade. Having now connections in the black market made easier for Momo to obtain a new and stronger Bey, Spiral Hound, who will turn into her permanent and loyal partner. At some point, Momo doubted about her actions and felt repulsed of herself, but being a witness of how low, malicious and treacherous the people around her were made her lose her faith on humanity and on herself, and gave her the wrong idea that human nature is being a scum, humans are trash no matter how much they deny it, and that included herself.

Dedicating to the office of stealing rare Beys to sell them was the first step of her several criminal acts. She started to torment a certain village that was close by, creating chaos with her Bey and with the help of her hyena clan. She started to steal not only Beyblades but also food (for herself and her hyena siblings) and valuables stuffs as well. She kept tormenting and creating chaos in that village and also in another places close to that village, until she became a very feared criminal wich people named "The Hyena Queen".

Metal Fight Beyblade: Quest for the Miracle Power

A new adventure started for Ginga and his friends, the quest for the Miracle Power, an ancient power that can either create a prosperous future in the right hands or bring complete destruction in the wrong hands. Said power only can be found with the Beys of the ancient Bladers that guarded this power, these Beys are hidden in several locations around the world and they're sealed along with the soul of their owners (the ancient guardians), once all the Beys are found the souls of the ancient guardians will reveal the path to the place where the Miracle Power and the soul of the leader of the guardians resides. After some time with no clues of where to start their search, Yuki reveals to Ginga that there's a big possibility that they could find important clues about one of the locations of the ancient Beys in Africa.

Ginga and his group traveled to Africa (where Nile and Demure decided to join them and help on the quest as well) and their search led them to a certain village that is tormented by a dangerous thief.

The information that Yuki gave to Ginga and his group led them to a small village located around the savanna, a place that Demure immediately recognized as dangerous territory; he explains to the group that they must be really careful during their stay on that area as it's said to be the territory of the Hyena Queen, a very dangerous criminal that have a special liking for stealing rare/valuable Beyblades to later sell them in the black market. The group got interested on the story about the Hyena Queen and decided to investigate more about her, also they wanted to be prepared just in case they encounter with her, but each time they asked the villagers about her their answers were quite unrealistic: some of them described her as an evil entity that is cursing the village, others described her as a demon hyena with human shape that came to bring misery to their village; in the end they got countless and countless of crazy stories/rumors and couldn't even have a decent description of the Hyena Queen's appearance. Demure shared with the group that the only thing he knew about this thief is that she has the ability to make hyenas obbey her, and that was probably the reason why the people of the village saw her as a "demon" (the people of the village were scared of hyenas, as they saw them as "evil entities"). While they were exploring the village, Ginga and his group met a little girl named Esiankiki, who offered the group to stay in her home with her and her father during their stay on the village; Esiankiki was a also a blader, a beginner blader, and once she found out Ginga and the gang were professional bladers she wanted to become their friend and learn from them. During the time the gang was hanging out with Esiankiki and her father, the guys didn't notice they were actually being watched by someone in the shadows.

The next day, the gang traveled to another village that was close by and from there they took a jeep to travel to the savanna and keep looking for clues. But while they were traveling, the jeep accidently hit a purple haired girl that came running from the prairie.

"Help me! The Hyena Queen is after me!"

Fortunately the girl wasn't badly wounded by the hit, but she claimed she was being chased by the Hyena Queen. The group decided to stop their search at the moment and took the purple haired girl with them, they didn't return to the village, but decided to camp close to the savanna. The girl introduced herself to the group as Momo and she fastly befriended them. They spent the night talking and laughing, Momo revealed she was a blader as well, wich made the guys excited (mostly Ginga, Masamune, Benkei and Yuu) to challenge her, she promised to them to have an exciting battle someday. After talking for a while, the gang told Momo about their search and she told them she had heard some rumors and that she knew where they can find what they're looking for, she also offered to guide them to the place. Ginga, Madoka and the rest of the group were excited that they finally found something that really helped them, however Kyoya didn't trust Momo at all and Nile found her very suspicious; after some arguments with Ginga, highly annoyed Kyoya leaves the camp and the group, Nile in the other hand, despite finding Momo suspicious, he decides to trust Ginga's judgement.

The next morning, Momo guides Ginga and his friends through the savanna to the place she talked them about. But after walking for a long while they ended up in the middle of nowhere, at that point everyone where starting to feel unsure. Suddenly, Madoka starts to hear what it seemed to be a laughter, initially she thought it was one of the guys and scolded them, wich made everyone confused, but then not only Madoka heard the laughter, the rest of gang did and it wasn't only one laughter it was many, like a whole group of people laughing. Before they could realize it, they were sourrounded by a bunch of hyenas, and when they asked Momo what to do she didn't do nor say anything, she just started to laugh in a quite creepy way.

"There's a dangerous thief around the place and you decide to trust a random person you just met? What are you, some kind of dumbasses?"

Momo made a short but high whistle with her fingers and then the hyenas attacked the group and took everyone's Beys with their mouths. After taking the Beys, the hyenas got close to Momo and gave the Beys to her, wich she placed on a bag.

"Let me introduce myself again... Nice to meet you, my name is Momo... But around here everyone calls me the Hyena Queen"

At that moment, the guys realized they fell on the trap of the Hyena Queen. The hyenas prevented the group to do anything to recover their Beys and they could only stare with a lot of frustration how Momo ran away with their Beys.

Ginga and the gang returned fastly to the village to find some help to recover their Beys, but nobody offered their help as nobody had the guts to confront the Hyena Queen, their only option at that moment was to find Kyoya to ask for his help, but he was nowhere to be found. The group had no more choice than try to recover their Beys by themselves, but little Esiankiki took all her courage and decided to help the gang to recover their Beys, she followed the group without them noticing.

The group finally finds Momo, but without their beys there's not much they can do. That's when little Esiankiki appears and, even though she was terrified of the Hyena Queen, she challenges Momo to a battle.

"I may be little, but I'm a blader too. I won't let you hurt my village nor my friends anymore!"

Esiankiki did her best on the battle, but she never had a chance against the ruthless thief. Momo didn't show any mercy to Esiankiki and completely destroyed the Bey of the little girl in a cruel manner. Ginga was disgusted by Momo's behaviour and also dissapointed as the long talk they had the day before gave him the impression she was someone with love for Beyblade.

"Beyblade should not be used for something like stealing or hurting people! Beyblade is about people giving their best along with their Beys to be stronger! Beyblade is about spirits connecting each other through battles!"

"It's an insult that someone like you consider herself a Blader! You have no respect for your Bey nor other people's Beys!"

Ginga's word for some reason had an impact on Momo and made her feel insulted. Yes, she was a scum, but her love for her Bey Hound was genuine, Hound was her loyal partner, the one who was with her in the most difficult moments, the only one Bey that could understand a Blader like her.

When all seemed lost, Kyoya appeared and challenged Momo to a battle, but not before he scolded Ginga for being so naive and not listening to him. Kyoya made a deal with Momo: if he wins she has to return the stolen Beys, but if he loses she can keep the Beys. The battle was rather intense, but despite Momo being a pretty strong opponent, in the end "The King of Beasts" was stronger and defeated her. But being the treacherous girl she is, she didn't give the Beys back and ran away one more time while the hyenas were preventing the group from follow her. While Momo was escaping, she suddenly remembered Ginga's words "Beyblade is about people giving their best along with their Beys to be stronger! Beyblade is about spirits connecting each other through battles!"; she stoped running and realized Ginga's words really affected her for some reason, but she couldn't understand why and that made her really angry. Reluctantly, Momo just threw the bag with the group's beys away in the middle of the savanna and left the place highly annoyed.

"You can have your Beys back, but we'll meet once again. I'll totally defeat you Hagane Ginga, I'll prove your so called 'Blader Spirit' is just nonsense!"

The gang, after finally getting free from the hyenas, tried to follow Momo, but in the way they found the bag with their Beys, they happily exclaimed how lucky they were and that Momo must have dropped the bag accidently while she was running. But Ginga didn't believe it was an accident, for some reason, he thought Momo actually left the bag on purpose. Momo definitely proved to be a nasty person, but still something inside him told him there was something more; remembering Momo's face when he told her she had no Blader pride really made him think, a hunch was telling him that maybe there was a reason why she acted like that.  

After that first encounter with Ginga and the gang, Momo kept an eye on them and was constantly watching them without them noticing, feeling more and more curiosity for that group of "naive" people. She had a few more encounters with the gang, and the more she interacted with them the more she felt dragged to their "Blader Spirit" discourse.

Some days later after the guys recovered their Beys, Yuu was determinated to challenge Momo to a battle and avenge Kiki's (nickname he gave to Esiankiki) Bey. He was completely confident that he could beat Momo with no effort. Momo accepted Yuu's challenge and mocked at his excesive confidence. Once the battle started, it looked like Libra was totally beating Hound.

"I traveled around the world and trained very hard! You're not the only one who got strong by training in the wild!"

But the reality was that Hound didn't really receive any serious damage. Yuu's overconfidence was preventing him from fighting wisely and made too many mistakes during the battle. Of course, Momo took this chance to give Yuu a lesson.

"Don't make me laugh kid! Just because you trained a little on the wild you think you're something? I got news for you, you are nothing!"

Momo showed to Yuu how bigger her experience was at fighting on the wild, beating him completely and making him feel totally helpless. As soon as the battle ended, Momo left the place without saying a single word.

"Just as I thought, there isn't anything special about this people. I guess I just got deceived by their pretty discourse"

Even though Yuu was shocked by his defeat, he completely recovered the next day; that experience made him realize he was acting arrogant and that there's still a lot he has to learn to become a stronger blader, there's still a lot of strong bladers out there that he can learn from. Even if he didn't like Momo, that battle with her gave him a valuable lesson.

After that, Momo kept watching the group from the shadows and had several other encounters with Ginga and the gang. The more he interacted with her, the more Ginga realized Momo was not a complete "trash" like she claimed to be. Momo caused a lot of chaos on the village, but she always seemed to care a lot about the hyenas and put their safety first; Momo did despicable things with her Bey, but she cared about her Bey a lot; Momo may claim she just use Beyblade to do what she want, but the times the group battle her, Ginga could see a small sparkle of exciment in her eyes. Ginga spoke about his doubts with Madoka, and even though she didn't approve anything Momo did, she too had similar doubts as Ginga.

"She really did awful things, but... The way she treates her Bey, the affection she shows for her Bey, I don't think that's something somebody can fake. Somebody who seems to love her Bey that much can't be that bad"

Sometime later, a dangerous group of criminals arrieved at the area and they started to create chaos on both the village and the savanna; they, like Momo, dedicated to steal rare Beys to later sell them, but apart from that, these criminals used their Beys to capture wild animals and traffic them. Ginga and the group decides to stay a little more on the village and help the villagers to stop that criminal group. Momo thought Ginga's actions were very naive and made fun of him.

"What are you trying to prove with this? How about you stop playing the hero and go home. Stop being naive and let this people deal with their problems by themselves"

Ginga just smiled and told to Momo that maybe she was right and he was being naive, but he would not allow anyone to use Beyblade to cause suffering to others and will do his best to stop those bandits. Just when Momo was disposed to leave the place, Ginga challenged her to a battle, wich she accepted. Initially, Momo was confused, did he wanted revenge for what she did to them?, no it didn't look like that, after all Ginga was smiling during the battle. Whichever his reason was, Momo was disposed to defeat Ginga and give her best on the battle. Slowly, the battle got more and more heated and both of them got really into it forgetting about anything else at that moment.

"No wonder why you beat Yuu, you're really strong! But that won't be enough to beat me!"

"Ho~ Come and try to beat me, Hagane Ginga!"

As the battle continued, Ginga could see it, Momo's eyes filled with exciment, she was completely into the battle and seemed to have a lot of fun while battling, so much that she even didn't realize it until Ginga pointed it out.

"I knew it! Momo, you really love Beyblade, isn't it?"

Momo realized she got completely carried away with the battle and felt both embarrassed and upset at Ginga noticing it. Ginga asked her why she acted like Beyblade was just a "tool" to do what she want when it was obvious she was really passionate about Beyblade. But Momo didn't answer, she felt completely exposed and didn't know how to react. Ginga kept insisting, but with no results.

"Shut up! Is none of your bussiness!"

Momo stopped the battle, called her Bey back and ran away the fastest she could. Momo's reaction gave Ginga an idea of why she acted like that.

Momo just kept running without caring where she was going, her head was a mess and she felt so confused and overwhelmed at that moment. Before she could notice, Momo came across the criminal group and was fastly surrounded by them; they were more than aware of who she was, they knew she was a wanted criminal and that there was a price on her head, since Momo was completely alone and without her hyenas, they took that chance and managed to make her their prisoner. Ginga and the gang came to the place to confront the criminals, but they only could witness how they left the place with an unconscious Momo as their prisoner. They followed them and finally found their base. Originally the group's goal was to disband the criminal gang, take them to the authorities and return everything they stole, but Ginga also proposed to the group that they should help Momo to escape, which at first the group disagreed. Ginga insisted enough to convince his friends, he made them realize that even if Momo would not do that for them, they were not like her and helping her was the right thing to do.

When the guys entered the bandit's base, they took separated routes: Ginga, Madoka, Masamune and Yuu were going to search for Momo; Kyoya, Benkei, Nile and Demure were going to search for a way to stop the bandits. Ginga quickly found Momo, who was surprised at seeing him and his friends trying to help her, unfortunately, they were discovered and the bandits took them as prisoners. During the confusion, Momo took the chance to escape and ran away from the place.

Kyoya, Benkei, Nile and Demure weren't captured, but they now have to find a way to rescue their friends. They went back to the base, but to their surprise Momo was helping Ginga and the others, she came back to help them to escape. Once everyone were free they confronted the bandits and Momo joined them claiming she just wanted to get revenge for putting her on a cage. The bandits were defeated and later captured.

The village thanked everyone (except Momo) for helping them to stop those bandits and made a big banquet to show their gratitude. The next day, Momo met Ginga and the gang once again and confronted Ginga; she asked him why he tried to help her, so far she only gave them troubles and hard times, it didn't make any sense.  

"I could never leave behind a fellow Blader. Besides, you helped us as well, right?"

Momo was surprised at Ginga's answer, as he pretty much acknowledged her as a "fellow Blader". She also claimed that the only one reason why she helped them is because she happened to be on the place to beat the bandits and took the chance to help them as well (in reality she wanted to help them cause she felt the need to repay Ginga for trying to help her to escape). Ginga took that chance to have an honest conversation with Momo, he claimed that he finally understood Momo's feelings and that she should stop trying to convince herself that she's ok with the life she had. Momo got angry at Ginga as she thought his claim of "understanding her feelings" was ridiculous, but Ginga was convinced that he did understand her.

"No matter how much you deny it, Momo you love Beyblade, isn't it? I could see it, when we were battling I could feel your Bey Spirit, I could see how happy and excited you were, I could see you were genuinely enjoying our battle. You want to keep Bey-battling, you want to face more Bladers and connect with them, am I right?"

"You think you're trash and you have convinced yourself that you're fine with the way you're living right now, but Momo you should stop lying to yourself. If you keep deceiving yourself like that,  if you keep denying your passion for Beyblade, if you keep using your skills for such a dirty purposes, you'll only be hurting yourself more and more. With this life style, you're only hurting yourself deeper and deeper, and someday I'm afraid you're going to end up dead inside"

"Stop that now that you can. Start over!"

Ginga's words were powerful enough to made Momo completely mute and move her heart. She did want to stop living like that, she did want to start over, but she already did so many awful things, it was impossible at that point to start over, nobody would accept her nor believe on her anyway. But Ginga extended his hand to Momo and smiled.

"I believe in you. If Momo honestly desires to change, I'll be there to support you. Momo, let's be friend, let's have another exciting Bey-battle!"

Momo was surprised and speechless at Ginga's gest. Madoka also joined to Ginga and offered her hand and her friendship to Momo, as she as well wanted to believe in Momo.

"What's wrong with you two?! What kind of idiot wants to be friend with someone like me! Idiots! idiots!"

Momo was completely moved by Ginga and Madoka and her only reaction was to yell at them to later cry like a little child. Ginga and Madoka smiled and both placed their hands on Momo's shoulders. Momo, between sobs, told them she accepts their friendship and thanks them.

Two days later, Ginga and the gang decided to leave the village as they couldn't find anything there, and prepared to go to a new destination. Before they could leave, Momo appeared once again in front of the gang.

"Let me go with you, please"

Momo was thankful to Ginga and she wanted to prove she was determinated to start over and turn into a good person. She wanted to help on the guys's quest as her first step on her journey to redemption. Ginga gladly accepted her proposition and let her join to their group, Madoka agreed as well. The rest of the gang were shocked and thought Ginga lost his mind, but Ginga told them to trust him and promised Momo would help them a lot. Masamune, Yuu, Benkei and Demure weren't really convinced, but decided to trust Ginga; Kyoya wasn't happy with Ginga's desition, but since he didn't care at all who Ginga decided to befriend he just minded his own bussiness and warned Ginga to not complain if the "Hyena woman" deceived him again; and Nile, who really despised criminals, wasn't happy at all with Ginga letting Momo to be part of the group, initially he got really angry, but after Demure and Benkei calmed him down, he decided to respect Ginga's desition, but he will not acknowledge Momo as his comrade.

Momo said goodbye to Mama and her hyena family (wich was incredibly difficult for her), and started her journey with Ginga and his friends.

Their adventures started in Africa, and Momo proved to be helpful to the group by helping them to deceive, avoid and even defeat bandits of the places they visited. Sometimes she would get in troubles as she was still a wanted criminal even thought she started over, and would have to avoid both bounty hunters and authorities.

Even thought initially just Ginga and Madoka accepted her on the group, she slowly gained the trust and friendship of Demure, Masamume, Yuu and Benkei, after living several adventures with them, after showing her "true" self to them. She would have a hard time with Nile, though, as he still holded a grudge for the things she did and was convinced that "a thief would always be a thief"; even though Nile was convinced that Momo would never change, she proved him wrong and she also was determinated to gain his friendship.

Momo managed to create a strong bond with the gang and was accepted as one more of them, the guys seemed to enjoy her company even if sometimes she can be annoying and even if she had a liking for teasing them. Even if she had a terrible relationship with Kyoya and they argued almost all the time, somehow Kyoya seemed to be ok with her presence on the group, but of course he would always claim that she's just a pain in the butt. Nile seemed to be the most difficult one, but after insisting for so much time, she managed to convince Nile that she really changed and was determinated to be a good person, and after thinking about it for a while, Nile decided to stop being so stubborn and gave her a second chance; after a while, he finally acknowledges Momo as his friend and even though she could be a difficult person to hang with sometimes, he surprisingly got along pretty well with her (despite being so different, they understood each other very well), got close to her slowly and formed a very solid friendship with her at the point he labeled her as one of his "best friends".

During the quest for the Miracle Power, Momo will learn a lot and will become a better person thanks to her new friends (which are now her inspiration), she will have the chance to even find out why her parents "abandoned" her, she will have the chance to meet the world and many different places she only dreamt about, she will meet new people and new amazing rivals, including her biggest rival Ignacio "Nacho" Moreno; she will have the chance to repay the people of the village she tormented, including "Kiki" who she gave a new Beyblade and revived her Blader Spirit; she will risk her life to help her friends to obtain the Miracle Power and prevent it to fall in the wrong hands; she will even discover love and will fall in love with a close friend.

Momo's journey with Ginga and the other Bladers was just beginning and many adventures were awaiting for her.

The end of the quest. Adventures on Metal Bey City

After the end of the Quest for the Miracle Power, everything went back to normal and everyone returned to Metal Bey City.
Momo, Nile and Demure stayed for a while in Metal Bey City hanging out with Ginga and the others, they took part on tournaments and events holded by the WBBA.

This season doesn't focus on journeys or beating bad guys, it's simply the gang hanging out in Metal Bey City, having fun and facing some new challenges.

Close to the end of the Quest for the Miracle Power, Momo confessed to Nile that she developed romantic feelings for him and that he became her most important person; she wasn't expecting Nile to correspond her, but she still wanted him to know how much he means for her and that she will always do anything for him. Initially Nile thought he just could see Momo as his friend, but as the time passed he started to feel confused at his feelings.

Separate paths. The journey of Neo Wild Fang

After spending some time in Metal Bey City, the gang separated and Nile, Demure and Momo returned to their place of origin. At this point of the story, Nile and Momo are clear about their feelings for each other and have became a couple.

Still wanting to fight more Bladers and have more adventures, Momo, Nile and Demure decided to begin a journey around the world as a team. Nile and Demure remembered when they were "Wild Fang" with Kyoya and Benkei and thought it could be a good idea to bring the old name back to name their new team, but Momo told them that since they were creating a whole new team, a new name should be better, so she proposed the name "Neo Wild Fang" (new name, but keeping the essence of the old name).

And so they started to travel as team Neo Wild Fang, facing new challenges and joining small tournaments around the world. Momo and Nile's relationship will have to face some challenges and difficulties as well, but they will manage to find the way to solve their issues and strengthen their relationship.

Epilogue

At the age of 22, Momo started to live with Nile and some time later they got married (they had a tribal wedding ceremony). They settled down on the old village Momo used to torment, which now welcomed her with open arms as she did a lot to help the village. It was a nice and calm place, perfect for people like them who weren't too comfortable in big cities, and it also made possible to Momo to keep in touch with her hyena family (which now were welcome on the village).

At the age of 25, both were agree with having children and start their own family. Unfortunately, Momo had troubles conceiving and after visiting a doctor it was revealed that she could probably never become pregnant. Momo falls into a depression as she desired to become a mom and have a child with the man she loves. Even thought it was difficult to overcome, Momo managed to overcome her depression, with the support and help of Nile. A few years later, and to her surprise, Momo got pregnant and managed to give birth to a healthy boy. After that she couldn't get pregnant again and she was ok with that as she and Nile were happy with their only child; Momo saw the birth of her child as a miracle.

Momo named her miracle boy Mosi, to honor her deceased hyena brother.

When it comes to Momo's job/occupation in her adulthood, she earns her living by working on constructions and stuffs of the like in the village. She also offers her services to local farms mostly to do "heavy works" or help with the care of the animals. She once got an offer from some Animal Behaviourists to work full time on an animal Park/Sanctuary; since she's a person who grew up with hyenas and around wild animals, her knowledge could come in handy for their facility not to mention they could learn a lot about hyenas from her; but Momo turned down the offer as accepting that work would mean getting too far from her family for long periods of time and with a newborn baby now that was out of the question, but even so she didn't completely turned down the job, she encouraged them to contact her for small jobs or whenever they needed assistance with hyenas (when "Mama" became old, Momo asked the researchers to let her stay on their park so she could pass her last years in peace. Momo, along with her son, would visit Mama once in while in the facility).

When it comes to Nile's job/occupation, he teaches and train the kids of the village that are interested on Beyblade. Another part of his job also consists on choosing candidates among the kids he trains that posses outstanding abilities on Beyblade to later recommend them to the WBBA in Japan; the WBBA would give these selected kids the chance to go to their facility to have a more advanced training and after that they could have the chance to participate on important tournaments either in Japan or around the world.
