Dominic is very egotistical. He always thinks about himself and how actions with affect him and nothing else. Despite his selfishness and seeming lack of empathy, people seem to gravitate towards him and care about his every thought. He's very popular with people, having a crowd believe anything that he says in seconds. He's also known as quite a ladies man. When he was in the academy he slept around a lot. He's a bit anxious about people finding out about how he's attracted to men because of the homophobia in Shadowhunter society.
Dominic, however, doesn't remember anything before he was 5 years old. He has vague memories of his mother, a red headed woman named Olive, but nothing more than that. He was picked up by his adopted dad Cicero at the same Shadow Market he was abandoned. Despite growing up happy with his father and training under him, he went to the academy to become better accustomed to people his own age.

- Picked his shadowhunter name after the only thing he remembers of his mother; her name Olive
- Used to have hair that reached below his shoulders. Cuts it now cause he's afraid it makes him look like a girl.
