Vinny's mother was a realtor. During the many times his father was away for a business meeting, Vinny would spend his time after school helping his mother decorate houses for upcoming clients. He loved it. He loved finding ways to make rooms pop out, or how to make them cozy. And the clients loved it too.
One day, he and his mom were getting ready to show someone a potential house to buy. The client was a young woman, excited to finally get a place to move in with her boyfriend.
And her boyfriend... ended up being Vinny's father.
Vinny stayed with his mom after the divorce, even when she took a job offer in Japan to get as far away from the memories as possible. He barely knew any Japanese, so he stayed silent at school, making people come to think of him as an intimidating foreigner.
But there was one young man that approached him, helping him learn how to get around, being his first actual friend. And when he offered him a chance to join his band, Vinny felt it was the only way to properly pay him back.

Notes: I can't exactly remember the origins of Vinny. When I was making Ken's band, I think I wanted a quiet shy guy, but the image I had of him was also a tough-looking guy. As for his love for home decorating, I don't really know either! I think it was to emphasize that he's just a sweet guy despite how scary he looks.

Personality: Because he isn't very expressive around people he doesn't know and doesn't talk often, people think of Vinny as cold and mysterious. They're intimidated by him and shrink when his piercing gaze hits them. In actuality, Vinny acts that way because he's shy and timid. He has a soft spot for anything cute, and always tries to help anyone that needs it. Although he's also a bit of a crybaby, easily getting his feelings hurt.

Drawing Details: Vinny doesn't really have a set wardrobe. He likes to look his best, sometimes wearing a brown suit, but he also likes to dress in comfort, wearing a brown hoodie and beige pants. He usually carries a guitar case on his back no matter the outfit.
