Chai has always been easily excitable and distracted, her focus easily being found on things that interest or fascinate her rather than that of the task at hand. Around her friends, she is hyper and silly, often looking to make others smile or laugh. Rarely does she waste the opportunity to discuss whatever interest she currently has with someone, especially if she finds out the interest is shared. She tries to be friendly towards strangers, often trying to offer them the same kindness she'd hope to have herself.

Despite her friendliness and seeming outgoing-ness towards strangers, she is actually quite anxious by nature, though she tries to hide it. Often she's overthinking what to say amid conversation or thinking long into the night about what she said or did that day. Despite this, she still makes an effort to be as cheerful as she is around her friendss, and often expresses herself through her art. Her anxiety leads to one of two outcomes: staying up late into the night with a warm drink and her face lit up by a computer or phone screen, or sleeping well into the afternoon.
