He's a smarmy venos who relies on his unsettling appearance to humanoids to bilk them of their coinpurses! oops! he'd never harm a hair on their pretty little heads, though. he wanders from town to town, going out of his way to pick 'closed off' places where they might not know what a venos could possibly look like. 

when his luck is low and he feels unsure, he simply goes about doing the Petty Street Ragamuffin thing within bustling towns, snatching all sorts of useless trinkets to resell elsewhere. He's pretty big so he avoids this, since most humanoids could catch him if they're clever enough. Still... He can't dare part with the thought of making less money by being more on the level. maybe he's a bad seed after all, but he doesn't mind too much! just hand over them shinies!
