Miriel

oone of two characters inspired by "Curses" from The Crane Wives 

Miriel is a princess of elven descend, though she has mixed blood (her father had an affair with someone, resulting in her height being bellow average for elves, as well as darker skin tone and such).
She has always been attracted to women, which her parents very much disapproved of, which resulted in her dressing up more masculine to try look more like a guy and find a way for her family to accept her.

She is rather shy, a "cinnamon roll" if you will. She gets frightened easily and has issues conveying everything with words often. She is somewhat skilled with magic.

Miriel meets Sinopa when she barges into the fox demon's bar, on the run and basically gets spirited away from the kingdom's eyes. She had a huge crush on Sinopa since the moment she first saw her, going red any time they made eye contact. They are girlfriends but Miriel is planning to propose soon.
