Ezra Caelum

Ezra (stylized: ΞZRɅ) is a popular idol who is known for his fun, bouncy songs about living free and doing what you like. (WIP!!)

Previously, Ezra was the leader of a popular teen idol group. When he was 15, he auditioned and was scouted for his good looks. Ezra quickly showed the higher ups that he not only had the potential to become a strong idol, but he also had the skills and drive to lead a group despite his lack of experience. Early on, he was targeted by other idols in training fueled by jealousy for Ezra’s speedy progress. Unbeknownst to them, Ezra was putting in extra hours after lessons in order to meet everyone’s expectations. The bullying did bother him at first but after airing his grievances to his manager, Ezra realized that this was just one of the many obstacles he would have to face to succeed in this industry. When he was 18, Ezra’s group retired as they were beginning to build their own stage identities. Ezra had gained a considerable amount of popularity as the group’s leader so at the suggestion of his manager, he decided to debut as a solo idol.

After a difficult year, Ezra finally started shaping his own identity. He was marketed as a fresh, fun, and somewhat dangerous idol. His songs were about letting go and having a good time. Ezra’s image change was praised for being a breath of fresh air. Many said that they thought it was refreshing to see him look like he was enjoying himself and free of the responsibilities of being a group leader. It was around this time that his agency held a shuffle live event. The most popular idols were paired up with one another and tasked with writing a song together. Ezra was paired up with solo idol and shining prince, Takara Kaneko. Their completely different styles built up anticipation for just what they would create. Of course, Ezra knew of Takara. Takara was the golden child of his agency. At first, Ezra felt a twinge of jealousy, but quickly reminded himself of how he was once victim to bullying due to envious peers. The process was long but once the pair got into the flow of things, they found themselves thoroughly enjoying every part of it. After the event, Ezra was glad to know that he had made a true friend in the industry.
