Sharp features and an equally pointy attitude, Zoe is a tough woman. She's able to hold her own in a battle of brains or brawn, and capable of making a swift getaway as she's nimble and light on her feet. She's an experienced free-runner, few obstacles able to halt her in her path as she can scale fences and buildings alike. Loyal to those she trusts, Zoe makes for a strong companion who is willing to put her life on the line to help the people that matter in her life. She can be sarcastic and isn't one to shy away from some banter, and she is as stubborn as a rock when she sets her mind to something.

Zoe was raised in the kingdom of Veloren, in it's capital city of the same name. While the laws and living conditions of the middle class are a struggle to live with for some, her adoptive parents managed to raise her comfortably and keep her childhood relatively sheltered. That was until she was around twelve years old, which unfortunately saw her parents struck down and murdered in a mugging gone wrong when the family was on an outing. Zoe managed to escape, and was taken in by friend of the family and her father's employer, Maestro Creed, who became her surrogate parent and guardian. She became quick friends with his adopted daughter, Carolyn, and formed a strong sisterly bond. The duo became a quartet when they became friends with Timber and Archie, and the group have been together and tight-knit ever since.

Zoe had always had a morbid curiosity regarding the neighbouring kingdom capital, Ayrak, and such curiosity had lead her to visit it. Little did she know that that one trip would be the very start of a long and grueling series of events that would lead to her discovering her heritage, awakening dormant magic, and being scarred for life in more ways than one. Originally she traveled across the continent to get a glimpse of what Ayrak was like, but her need to help others saw her becoming far more involved than a simple visit. After meeting a couple of dracos in the employ of the notorious Bloodmoon family, including one of the sons, Zoe had little choice but to assist in their escape away from their shackles. They fled across the world to the kingdom of Li'Venya, where Spiral, one of the Bloodmoon slaves, had a wealthy relative that was able to house them and take them in.

For a time things were well, until a year or so later once Zoe was back home she received word from her friend Grave, saying he had returned to Ayrak to save a friend who was in the same position he had once been. Unable to ignore the call, Zoe once more crossed the border, but it was this second visit to the crime-riddled city that would change her life in ways she never thought. This time she would cross paths with the head of the Bloodmoon family, Grimm Bloodmoon himself. This encounter would not leave Zoe unscathed, as her gift of running was no help in escaping the dreadful blood-magic Grimm possessed. He shattered her lower leg and coated it with deep lacerations that would have been fatal on their own. She narrowly escaped with her life when Ayrak's resident mysterious medic, simply known as 'The Doctor', intervened. Now that Zoe's face was known, the plan to leave became much more complicated than the first time. She was hunted, and her only refuge was the Flower Orphanage, which served as her safe haven and place to recover from her injury. Her friends and eventually her guardian would join her in the city and become targets for Grimm's henchmen, having come to look for her after her sudden disappearance and lack of contact.

She and her companions were stranded in Ayrak for several months before they managed to find the right help to escape, but not without casualties. But even after they'd managed to get back home, they were not safe yet, as Grimm's headhunters were looking for them. It became a race to reach Li'Venya and wait out the hunt, and it had been a harrowing time for all involved. During the time it had taken to find safety, Zoe's world had been turned upside down. Her boyfriend had cheated on her, instead of looking to find out where she'd gone, and she had learned she herself was the daughter of Grimm Bloodmoon. It was blow after blow, and it was only through her loved ones that Zoe was able to regain some semblance of who she'd been before she became a traumatized and paranoid mess, able to eventually return to her normal life in Veloren once the hunt was over.
