TWO DIFFERENT CHARACTERS!* they came together on the same sheet, and are brothers which is why im giving them one entry! They have to stay together <3

These guys don't have much of a background yet other than the following ideals:

The masks they wear are cursed and embedded into their skin, skills, and fur. The default emotion is that of a slightly neutral yet warm smile, though the curse that carries with them is that the permanent mask only shows the opposite emotion of what they feel. Generally they are very sad, lost creatures in their world, but they always appear to be smiling. They lack the ability to speak, and must rely on only what the mask shows them and what their ears hear around them. However the masks constant shifting of emotions that never reflect their true feelings in the moment cause much confusion, frustration, and sadness.

Usually only their masks are colorful but on occassion they may paint their fur with markings or to identify each other. They find a partner to live life with as a sort of family system, though they do not need to breed nor feel the need to do so. The ones shown above are brothers, though pairs may be simple and complete just as good friends. The bonds that the pairs have are incredibly strong, and act as guides for each other when the other's will has hit its low point. If one loses their 'partner', they may starve themselves and no longer feel the will to live on. Being cursed to never be able to show their true emotions takes such a toll on them, because without their partner, they feel as if no one will ever be able to read them again.

This is the basic information I had in line for them, though if you adopt one, feel free to give them any special qualities. Just ask if you want to make any huge changes first, please. And remember to credit the art and species ideal to me. I'd flesh them out more but honestly this design is pretty generic, and I don't mind if people just tweak them with some different stories. It's a masked fox...whatevs, you know? Not gonna be too anal about tweaking cuz of that. If these guys get alot of love from the public I'll make more available for adoption, and perhaps even add other masks and details at a later date.
