Self insert character. Named Cayden instead of Andrew so as to not be confused with HoD's Andy.

Two visual designs of him exist: younger (with natural dirty blond hair) and older (with hair dyed red, typically cosplays Andy.) there is no inter-lap between these two designs for personal reasons. If he's depicted as blond it's the younger design, if with dark red hair it's the older design. Please keep content about both versions PG-13.

As Cayden is essentially "human Finsterhund" they will never occupy the same space.

Story-wise there are two major versions of Cayden.

There's a realistic version wherein he's a regular human boy who is limited to relatively realistic abilities. Is a bit of a problematic gremlin child but not to the level of fantastical versions. Only unnatural aspect is that Spot, "Fot" the dog is inexplicably the closest thing he has to a legal guardian and appears to have supernatural powers exclusively whenever it's needed. Cayden does have regular human grandparents however. He has realistic fears and aspirations and does adhere to natural survival instincts. Meaning this version of the character won't trip over himself trying to bait monsters into giving him attention or plot to take over the world. The purpose of this version of the character is an idealized picturesque childhood aesthetic.

Fantastical AU versions are where things get decidedly less regular human. This version of Cayden has the gremlin levels ramped up to 11. He seeks out perilous and deadly situations for his own thrill and seemingly wants to befall horrible fates. In this AU it's heavily implied that if the integrity of Cayden's mortal human vessel is at all destroyed/compromised it will unleash a sealed eldritch side to him that will usher in some sort of Armageddon. Whether he explicitly knows that or not is unclear. Cayden is outright the spawn of "Fot" who is herself an eldritch celestial god that chooses to take the form of a springer spaniel. Spot uses all sorts of powers at her disposal to keep him out of danger. Cayden claims he has a biological father that was some sort of dark lord or lich but this never amounts to anything and might just be for clout. A lot of Cayden's powers are a case of "can only do it when it's funny" and he possesses some level of toon abilities (ie: a pocket dimension) The purpose of this character is to be a parody that can fuck up any situation he's dropped into and to sort of parody the "demonic" child trope. Presumably at an older age this version of the character gets more access to powers and abilities.

Little things to note:

• Has an open heart surgery scar
• has prominent but widely spaced freckles on his arms, legs, and neck but they are nearly invisible on the bridge of his nose and cheekbones
• Pale with extremely sensitive skin (sunburns easily, overheats easily)
• Is shaky and lightheaded
• Has a speech impediment that becomes more noticeable when excited
• Central heterochromia can be difficult to draw. If unsure just give him solid blue eyes
• This character is basically me. Please respect the character and only draw him if given permission or a trusted friend
• Is rarely seen without a dog or stuffed toy and hates wearing shoes and socks
