Charlie was first introduced as a miniboss- so to speak- in a night hag coven's deathtrap maze, along with her "brother", an incubus. However, instead of being fought, she took a liking to Orrgeon in particular, and decided to betray the night hags by giving them some information and refusing to tempt them. 

Afterward, Orrgeon offered her a place in Lanceguarde, and she remained there until the end of the Divine War, when the pair eventually married and began to travel the world. 

She is convinced of the concept of ascension- after all, if angels can fall, then shouldn't fiends be able to rise? She hopes so.
