A woman of very few words. When she's in a big group she doesn't like to talk all that much, she prefers much more to just listen to everyone else' coversations. She's a very skilled shadowhunter with a bow and arrow, but she doesn't understand emotional depth all that much. She doesn't really "get" other people's (or even her own sometimes) emotions. She's seen as stoic and emotionless by a lot of people (or they think she's just bored all of the time). She knows she's a lesbian, but she doesn't want to confront that at all, and when she finds out Dominic is looking to hide the same thing, they decide to date just for conviences sake.

Despite being skilled with a bow and arrow, Nerissa doesn't have many other combat skills. Her parents were always absent as a child so she had to teach herself everything, and bow and arrow was the safest and simpliest to self teach. She's pretty helpless with any kind of close combat. She's mostly back up during a fight for this reason.
