Design
• His body is covered by a fairly soft plastic, while his hair and insides are entirely made of the candy he's based on.
• Since it's rumored the candy had the funny herb at some point, he's constantly high.
• If his hair gets exposed to water it'll dissolve away and leave him bald.
• He can regrow it, but doing so too often can wear him out. (And he doesn't like being bald)
Battle
• So guess what he's got a whip that is part of his hair too.
• It's got chilli powder and salt pellets that may sting or even melt certain candies.
• It's also able to latch onto objects to bring them closer, or to boost Pelón up in the air during combat.
• He's pretty skilled and familiar with his weapon, but the fact he doesn't take it seriously can make serious fights take him by surprise.
• During a sugar rush he's quick with regenerating the candy, allowing him to keep fighting even if exposed to water.
• After a sugar rush he'll go through withdrawal and will need time to rest!

Morita
His childhood best friend and roomie !! Best of both worlds. He doesn't mind getting dragged around to fight other candies on her behalf, he knows they both appreciate eachother's help in battle! Pelón cares about her deeply and is happy to be her friend.
Reba
Another best friend! Though they met a lot later compared to the other candies, he thinks Reba is a fun guy to be around, and enjoys hearing a second opinion (even if he sometimes doesn't understand or agree). Pelón tries to be present whenever he's needed, and is quite thankful Reba seems to enjoy his company too!
Marzie
Marz! Marzie. Marzieeeeepan. She's a silly gal. He's aware Morita kinda wants them dead, but he likes chatting with them whenever they get a chance. ...Why did Morita want her dead? She's a cool candy.
Cali
Yaknow, she's a fun rival. She puts up a hell of a fight and is pretty witty when talking back! It can get kinda tiring that she insists on him and Morita being the enemy. Like, gee...!! Look in the mirror! >:(
Rey
EeeHHH... They're cool....? Not? Maybe? No strong opinions yet, but they're significantly more annoying than Cali.
