Chantelle grew up in Azmarin, right outside of the valley. She lived with her father and visited her mother on the weekends in Aurelia Village, where the two would go to the gym and work out together and get a bite to eat afterward. Though her parents were separated, they did everything they could to make sure their little girl was taken care of and happy. During the school year, Chantelle saw more of her father and less of her mother, merely for the fact her school was much closer to where he had lived- but when her mother had the time to come up to visit, they would spend a few days together at her hotel room and hit the town.
After graduating from school, Chantelle got a job working as a coach for the school's softball team, and after a few years of doing so, she retired and decided to become a gym coach for her local fitness center. Unfortunately due to lack of funding the center had closed down, leaving Chantelle without work. Upon getting a tip from her mother that the fitness center in Aurelia was looking for new coaches, she packed her things and moved to the Valley, her father keeping in touch to this day. She found the center in Aurelia almost in shambles, but luckily with her help and the increasing amounts of tourism, they were able to help it stay afloat until it took off.
Her mother and father had soon after rekindled their relationship and remarried, happier than ever much to Chantelle's relief. She was much too young to remember the initial separation but she was happy that in time they found their love once more. Chantelle's friends sometimes visit the gym to say hello, but know just how forceful she can be when it comes to working out, so they do not stay for long- but that's just how it is with her. Chantelle loves her work and will do whatever she can to assist others in reaching their goals. Chantelle still works as a fitness coach for the Aurelia gym, and has helped many people reach their goal weights and muscle mass. She finds the process to be very rewarding, even if her clients hate her at some points, but she knows it is all a part of the process. Every now and then her parents will come to do their own routines and help her close up shop for the night. Afterward they all head to Chantelle's house, and she invites some buddies over for a board game night or a night of Super Smash Bros to have some fun.

Chantelle finds Alexy to be naïve and quite idiotic, but she cannot help but admire his worth ethic. He takes is job very seriously and she admires how focused he is when it comes to what he does. When they cross paths she always nods to him in passing, and she cannot help but scoff with a small smile on her face when he energetically waves back.
Friend
Cinna is Chantelle's keeper if anything, helping her relax after spats with Brynn and talking her down from hurting someone. The two of them get along quite well, both of them admiring each other's work w=ethic and passion for what they do. Sometimes Chantelle will drag Cinna along to the gym, much to the latter's dismay, but Cinna takes it like a champ and does her best to please her overbearing pal.

Chantelle had met Lily during the Lotus Festival, the latter standing by the loudspeakers that were blaring music. Chantelle had begun to scold her for being too close, but because they couldn't hear each other over the noise it became a yelling match of "What??" "Say that again?" After a while, the two broke down into laughter, finding somewhere quiet and bonding over their love of music. Now, Chantelle always goes to Lily to make new workout playlists for her, and Lily is more than happy to oblige.
