She's very physically strong for an awakened magic user, who normally focus more on their spells than on becoming stronger unlike an unawakened magic user, but she is still physically weaker than Lloyd. Using technology weakens her powers.

Yoana's family are longstanding protectors of Dresserton's local National Park. Each family member is trained from a young age in magic, to eventually awaken them and pass on the Atwood style of magic. In a world with magic, where shady magic users need places to perform their dark arts, national parks are generally always at risk of cataclysmic events. It just takes one botched demon summoning to cause a massive forest fire, or a disease that wipes out a large population of animals. There's also keeping track of the territories of magical beasts, and keeping the general populace away from them. Plus, she acts as a diplomat for the local tribe of Sasquatches that live there, whether it's bringing them outside supplies, warning them of impending danger, or just arm-wrestling their chieftain for fun. Yoana takes to her job quite well, and knows the entire ~38,000 acre national park to a superhuman degree.
One thing that helped her out a lot, giving her the highest potential of any member of her family, is that she was blessed at a young age by a forest spirit. The spirit, which takes the form of a human-faced bear, will hypnotize people in the forests, before pinning them down and draining them of life force, leaving them in incredibly poor health and rarely more than a year to live. However, seemingly on a whim, this spirit will provide some people with all the life force it doesn't need for itself. As Yoana recieved this life force, she was basically granted a body of perfect health and flawless physical condition, which is why she is so large and muscular, and she will easily live to be around 160 years old.
