Character Notes:

• She has luck magic: everyone in her vicinity has slightly better luck than usual.
• She's from the Eastern archipelago, Rishu, where her parents still live.
• She's currently studying abroad in Aldora as part of a junior ambassador program. 
• She loves to bake! She will come up with any excuse to bake sweet treats for (or even better: with) her friends and family. In fact, part of how she was matched with her host family is because one of their kids likes to bake as much as she does.
• She's on the fence about whether she wants to be an ambassador or a baker when she grows up. She's wanted to be an ambassador since she was a kitten, but as she gets older she's learning that it's harder than it looks from a kitten's perspective. Maybe moving to Aldora and starting a bakery after high school is more her speed?
• She struggles a lot in school. She has trouble straying organized and concentrating in class, math has never made sense to her, and the only way she's able to finish tests all the way is with accommodations that let her take extra time. Even history class frustrates her, and she LOVES learning about history! The only classes she doesn't feel lost in are home ec and art class.
• She shows her affection through heartfelt, often homemade, gifts.

Lakshmi is quite the bundle of joy. You will rarely ever catch this little one without a smile on her face. She sees all thats good in the world and never lets the negative cloud her mind; in fact, little Shmi here will not rest til she can find a positive in every situation. In addition to her constant joy, Shmi likes to think she can bless each and every one she meets with the utmost luck thanks to her trusty coin, and to her, even if the luck doesn't come right away, its surely there if you look hard enough. Lakshmi is quite a goofball as well. There is never a dull moment with her when she is placed out in public and she will put forth all her effort to make someone laugh or smile, even if its in the most cheesy and stupidest way. There is of course a glowing innocence to this one, not yet opened up to all there is in this world. A lot of things go right over her head, and she gets a bit pouty and frustrated when she misses something or has to have something explained to her. No worries though, as soon as it clicks she will snap right back into her happy self and go off on a seemingly never ending journey of questions to make sure she learns as much as she can.
