Summary

- Amir was captured by the Academy for a period of two years, before he was busted out by the Resistance and joined their organization in repayment. He didn't stay long enough as Kei to be reinstitutionalized, but his memories of the Academy are not very fond. He befriended Kura over their shared dislike of the organization.

- He doesn't carry a weapon - he lets his fire do the talking! he's very much the ranged member of the party, using his flames to fight from afar.

Trivia

• If he could, he'd love to be a musician. He doesn't know how to play an instrument though, so he has no idea if he'd even be good at it.

• He loves the big city!

• He has a particular disdain for Elise - the Academy commander - because of how cruel he remembers her being.

• Though he doesn't really interact with him, Amir is wary of Yuta after he slips out of Elise's mind control, very much out of fear it might happen again.

Kei

Kura's childhood friend. Amir understands Kura's hesitation in carrying out her duties in regards to Kei the best - not just because they were friends, but because they are fundamentally similar. Amir thinks Kei is a little bit of an angsty jerk for his own good, but even he shrudders to think what three more years at the Academy would be like, especially under Elise's control. Amir isn't very opinionated on Kei, but rather the effect he has on Kura - he's worried that he might keep his friend trapped in the past and unable to move on, after spending so long after several incidents trying to remain emotionally stable.

Kura

Amir's close friend in the Resistance. To many outsiders, their friendship seems like an unlikely one due to their opposite personalities - Amir being an energetic extrovert, with Kura being a secretive introvert. Despite this, they make a good balance: Amir's social, yet gentle nature makes Kura feel more willing to talk, and on the other side, Kura's cool demeanor seems to calm him. Their equally marred pasts due to the Academy's antics have also given them both shared experiences and shared goals that they hope to rectify in allying with the Resistance. They often train together to hone their skills, as well as discover new music together - whether it be online or sneaking out to Hart City to blend in at a concert. They also play some of Kura's favourite strategic games on occasion. Despite continuing to believe he'll beat her at some point, Amir can't stand them, however - he always loses.

Cole

Amir's teammate. Amir has a notable stubborn streak, which can grate on Cole's nerves at times, as he's the most likely to not follow orders. Outside of work, however, they get along quite well. Amir is unusually friendly, and despite teasing him about his poor social skills - actually makes an effort to help teach him about how to interact in certain situations. In turn, Cole teaches him strategies in chess so he can stay on his toes in matches against Kura. Though he never says it, Cole appreciates Amir.

Mercury

Amir's teammate. Both Mercury and Amir have a shared stubborn streak and are generally friendly, passionate people - meaning they get along quite well, for the better or for the worse. In work they can be a lethal team, though this can sometimes backfire as both have the tendency to let their feelings get the better of them. (Thankfully though, Mercury is more likely to listen to Cole's orders than Amir is, and can sometimes even convince the latter to listen up.) Outside of work, Amir and Mercury both have a shared passion for music, so they often chase down live music nights in Hart City at jazz cafes or bars, and take the effort to disguise themselves through contacts or even a simple hood. Amir likes to treat her like the younger sister he never had, and vice versa.
