Gael Saito (Pokemon Team)

Coco is Gael's starter Pokemon and has been by his side for years. The Monferno is one of the few things in his life that manage to keep him sane. Those who initially meet him see him as a vulgar, mischievous troublemaker that likes to pull small pranks. Coco, however, is quick to drop his troublemaking actions whenever his owner asks him to. He's rarely aggressive and will only lash out if those who care about are in danger. It should also be noted that Coco can be clumsy and overly energetic sometimes (especially when it comes to food). He's a glutton to the point that Gael always has to keep an eye to make sure he's not eating any ingredients.

Peaches is far from being the nicest Miltank in the world. With her father being a Tauros, it's no surprise that's the case. Peaches was a gift that Gael received from his father when he had his son. It was a gift that Gael appreciate receiving as it did help getting milk for Joey easier. (That and he didn't have to worry about buying it..seriously that stuff isn't cheap.) She's not a fan of anyone attempting to drink her milk unless your name is Gael, Joey, or anyone that Gael considers a friend. Her short-tempered nature results in her getting into fights with those who even considering touching her. In her defense, she is still getting used to being around those not apart of her herd.

Lemondrop is a bit of an anomaly for her kind. Despite meeting the requirements of being a Strawberry Lemon Creme Alcremie, the female somehow managed to become a hybrid Lemon Creme Alcremie with Berry and Strawberry Sweets. It doesn't bother Lemondrop. The female takes great pride in her appearance. Lemondrop is a friendly, kindhearted female that tries to support her friends to the best of her ability. She is usually the one that keeps the harmony amongst the group as her neutral nature often allows her to solve problems with relative ease. She carries a strong passion for cooking and is willing to do whatever she can to help Gael.

Gael wasn't expecting the Rotom that inhabit his smartphone to end up becoming one of his Pokemon. He honestly thought that Pocky would prefer sticking to the device. However, Pocky did eventually evolve past the desire to be in one. Despite being a bit unusual in terms of appearance, Pocky is a useful aide for Gael as they help ensure that all the electronics are up and running. They carry with them the desire to help their owner in whatever way possible and are often curious about new technology. In some respects, they're almost like a dog who cares deeply about their owner.

Gael wasn't planning on getting Charlotte. With how often he stumbled upon the female's species, it's no surprise that he had disinterested in it. However, that changed when the female started to follow him home due to lacking a family. Charlotte is a kindhearted and empathetic person that will do anything to protect those she loves. She can be a bit dramatic at times to the point that it's akin to the level of Katsu's Gliscor(Vincent). Charlotte is also shown to be headstrong to the point she won't give up on things or people once she has fully set her mind to it. In some respects, she have a almost a naive view of the world and the many people tat live in.

In Galar, Applin are meant to symbolism one's one for another. It is something that he would learn from his wife when she came Reese to him as a birthday gift. Reese is essentially a big dumb puppy (which is amusing since it seemed like this dragon believes he is is a dog, to begin with). He’s goofy, eat whatever he gets his hands on, and loves his owner to the point he gets sad when he’s away from him. Gael is unable to get mad at him and will always cry whenever Reese does something cute. He usually keep the Pokemon around to watch over his son for him.
