Vinnie
Vincent is a mage who’s from demon Australia and was trained to be both a master life mage and a skilled surgeon back at home, and somewhere between moving away from home and now he started a gianormous organisation of surgeons and savants who break moral rules to advance scientific knowledge.
His organisation is absolutely hated. They were dubbed the wolves because no one had ever seen a kangaroo and Vinnie couldn’t change people’s terminology before the name was well known so he kept it that way. Wearing such a mask in public warrants being killed because of the group’s main practice: they carry out inhumane experiments on live people to discover new things about the demon body that couldn’t be found out post-mortem. They wear their mask to cover up their identity, and the uniform is deliberately the most generic version of a surgeon’s official outfit so that members remain anonymous.
Most of the recruitment is done by this guy. No one really knows who he is and most people who know he’s the pack leader don’t recall his face as he removes people’s ability to visualise him. He has the ability to detect people’s lies and when people are very calm he can even read their memories and dig through their brain. He researches recruits enormously to see if they’re useful and if he can use something he found to convince them to join.
He isn’t necessarily a bad person but he’s willing to disregard subjects’ feelings and mistreatment if it means they get closer to mapping out the body and its workings.

- Vinnie's reason to do this is to truly reach a better future, even if it costs him a normal life
- As a life mage, he can invade others' mind to research if they aren't double agents, to find info to coax them into employment, and to make them forget his appearance should he approach them without a mask
- That last point allows him to walk around without a mask without anyone recognising him as the Vinnie
- Because all of his employees wear that particular mask and outfit, no one really knows who he is unless he reveals himself to them
- For having such a morbid job, Vinnie is a rather respectful and friendly man with a love for social contact
Nothing is know about Vinnie's appearance, except that based on the ears of his mask he has medium sized horns that go fairly straight in shape, and that he's a really tall guy with some muscle. It's not that he has never shown his face to anyone; when he recruits or walks around outside of work hours he does so in regular clothes without any covering, but anyone he introduces himself to as the pack leader is unable to remember what he looks like once the interaction is over, a magic trick Vinnie loves to apply to keep anonymity. It allows him to safely walk the streets without anyone suspecting a thing.
His most well known appearance is the standard appearance for a wolf. He has not a single discernible mark on him and looks the exact same as his employees and henchmen. The only way to identify himself is by a document he always has with him, a proof of authority all higher ups own. The standard uniform is that of an official surgeon plus the iconic mask to cover up identity. Said mask is a dull brown in colour and is shaped like a kangaroo's head, but since people mistook it for a wolf's head has since been called a wolf mask. The mask has six holes in the snout and two large holes in front of the eyes. His horns are hidden inside the ears, which are fairly small and straight. The mask is fastened behind the head with a strap and is directly connected to a vibrant brown cloth that covers up the entire neck.
The rest of the uniform is fairly standard. A shirt or a sweater covers up the small part of the chest that isn't covered up by the high collared dark grey coat. Even in this piece there's only limited choice between black, white, or various types of brown. The arms are guarded by a six segment metal piece to prevent potential illness from spreading or blood being touched; sessions where there's no contact with the ill just involve the regular black gloves that are worn beneath the metal. Trousers are either a thin or a thick version of the same model, colours ranging between very similar browns. Leather boots are standard, with a choice between a model at above ankle height and a model at below knee height. The tail is tucked away in the uniform and there's no space for it to be visible through.
