A mysterious individual who was once a lighthouse keeper, now turned travelling healer...of sorts. Unreadable, confusing and always found with a smile on their face, they keep themselves wrapped tightly in a web of secrecy, never revealing much about themselves. Fond of parties, loud activity, and all that glitters, they go where life leads them, offering medicinal aid and divine guidance (at a price) to those in need. Across their travels, they become guardian to a girl cursed by the ocean, caring for her as the two journey in search for a way to reverse her condition.

About
'Amasis' was just a name they'd adopted. They were the ward of a sickly lighthouse keeper, and made frequent errand runs to a nearby village. They begged their way into an apprenticeship with a medicine-woman in hopes of helping their guardian; but death would claim him no matter how they struggled. Frustrated by failure and no longer willing to wait for someone who would never return, they decided to put their skills to better use elsewhere - leaving to become a travelling healer, picking up a girl cursed by the deep sea.
...Or, that's just the story they would tell.
Amasis' past is mired deep in mystery, tightly guarded by vague smiles and well-timed deflections. Their true identity is the ■■■■■■■, ■■■■■■■ of ■■■■, the ■■■ of the ■■■. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ■■■■ ■■■■■■■■. They were thought to have been ■■■■ by the ■■■■■ ■■ ■■■■■■■ when the ■■■■ still walked the land with people. They have kept themselves in hiding all this time, occasionally lending aid and guidance to those around them. Still bearing heavy scars from ■■■■■ ■■■■■■■■■, they are largely unwilling to enter the fray of conflict. However, this has begun to change as of late - ever since their meeting with Zhu Rong, amidst mounting suspicion of something darker stirring beneath the ocean.

Kuya [ Fellow extrovert ]
Initially finding Kuya a little untrustworthy, Amasis now enjoys bouncing ideas off him as they travel. Kuya is a person who experiences emotions with more ferocity than they, a point of both envy and respect for Amasis. They are grateful that Kuya invited them along on this wild journey, and take it upon themselves to also watch over him.
Ouyang [ Target of harassment ]
Amasis finds it funny to jokingly rile Ouyang up over the smallest of things. They will flirt with him (to his chagrin), tease him about Kuya (to his embarrassment) and goad him on rare occasion (to his annoyance). Ouyang always reacts in ways that tickle Amasis, though he likewise embarrasses them back by offhandedly complimenting them. They have an amicable relationship as the two people in charge of keeping the group in line.
Zhu Rong [ Ward ]
Despite seeming unreadable, Amasis cares deeply for Zhu Rong. They have an established bond before Kuya & Ouyang entered their lives - Amasis has looked after Zhu Rong since they found her lost and frightened in the wild. Amasis hopes that Zhu Rong may someday find her way back home. Until then, they will be here to wipe her tears for her.
