PERSONALITY
Imelda definitely has two sides to her. One one hand, there's the studious, intelligent and professional woman. A hard worker who threw herself into her studies to prove her bullies wrong and become a rich woman- like she said she would.
On the other hand, there's a delightful woman whose a bit airheaded and loves to have fun. It's actually more common to see this side of her, as the moment she is not forced to play "mom," she lets her walls down easily.
The woman is incredibly friendly, albeit a bit forgetful and overly optimistic. She usually bears a smile on her face, and tackles each issue on with a "we're gonna do it" attitude.
CURRENT EVENTS
Imelda was in her office at the university when the outbreak happened. Scout, her intern, came in with a bold plan to leave the city and go to the younger girl's hometown, a small rural community. After seeing the dire situation play out, Imelda deemed it a smart move, and proceeded to follow Scout into unknown territory.
HISTORY
Imelda was born in the Philippines, into a relatively well off family. Around 9 years old, her family decided to uproot themselves and move to the US. Imelda wasn't against it initially, but the bullying of other students made the otherwise bubbly and extroverted girl shy away, embarrassed by her accent and culture.
She found friendship in her teachers, who took the time for Imelda to help her feel more accustomed to living in a new country. It became a bit of a hobby, and Imelda found herself fascinated by people, and ended up falling into psychology.
She began a slow ascent into the ranks, eventually meeting her future husband- a doctor. The two began dating and ended up marrying. They never bore children.
As they aged together, the two found that they were drifting apart. It wasn't that they didn't love each other, they just weren't in love with each other. They deemed it too much work to divorce, and both were satisfied with the situation, and were able to meet people outside of their relationship.
Before the outbreak happened, Imelda had found herself the Dean of Psychology at the university in a large city.
