Previously a stone breather who aspired to become a hashira but was never quite able to make it. He's stern and has high expectations for his children. He can be stubborn and is not the best at providing praise or comfortable showing his true emotions. It's hard to know what he's thinking. He's very firm in his beliefs but can be moved if proven that his views are not in the right. He wants to be a good person and someone to be respected. He does not stand for those who hurt others yet has a hard time understanding how people can be hurt emotionally so is quick to look it over.

Previously a flower breather who joined the corps to save lives. It took her a long time to retire at the cost of her vision causing her to be legally blind (not completly blind, everything is just very blurry without her glasses). She does not mind though, she is at peace knowing that there are many alive due to her hard work. She is gentle, kind, and softspoken. Much like her husband, she can also be stubborn and stern at times, as well. She wants her children to know the importance of life and value the people around them as if they were their own kin. She sacrificed a lot in her life to be a slayer, and expects her children to have the same mindset.

He was raised to be a slayer and trained under his father for stone breathing ever since he was a child. He feels his parents were the most harsh on him since he was their first son and they had no idea what they were doing. After years of training with stone breathing his mother tried to convince [father] to switch him to flower breathing due to his difficulties with stone breathing. [name] was born with a few complications including being premature and stuff leaving him fairly weak and as a child before puberty, he just did not have the muscle mass for stone breathing. He seemed fairly successful with flower breathing and was ready to take the trials for becoming part of the corps until he came face to face with a demon encounter on his journey there. The demon was already feasting on a person and [name] found it to be terrifying, he luckily survived because he went on auto-pilot to fend them off but it was scarring. He returned home and told his parents that he was not becoming a slayer. His parents got really upset at him and he started to act out a lot because this is what his whole life was about and now he 1) has nothing and 2) has parents who are trying to pressure him into taking his own life basically.
[name] refusing to become a slayer put a lot of pressure on Mazin to be the perfect slayer. [name] always thought that was so dumb but his parents made [name] look bad in Mazin's eyes so he could not even try and convine him to not repeat his own mistakes. Shortly after, he left home and only ever returns for holidays or oher family gatherings since he still cares for his family.
He has to wear glasses due to all his years training intensely under flower breathing.
Mazin was 8 when [name] left and took on the responsibilities as the sole slayer of the family. He missed some of his parent's expectations but was still better than [name] by a landslide. That was until Senna came along. She was much more skilled from the get-go and was able to adapt to being a flower breather easily. All the attention focused on the new golden child and it made Mazin feel like he had to work harder to be good in their eyes again but it was never enough. And this is the point where i will go more in depth in their own profiles.
