Biography

Toby is the overly loud, confident, and rambunctious son of Ben and Beverly, and he stands out compared to his less intense parents and his relaxed twin sister. He's equally annoying as he is fun to be around, and he has the tendency to do things he'll later regret for a quick laugh or for the spotlight to be on him. He's a very complicated boy, and he relishes in the chaotic aura he emits as a result. Although known to be obnoxious and a class clown, he truly has a heart of gold underneath the act and is extremely loyal to his friends. He's also still dealing with confidence issues, which may be why he acts out and craves attention from others so much; it's so he won't be forgotten.

Relationships

Like their sister, Toby is very close with their parents. When he came out as trans to them they were extremely accepting; neither parent was cis themselves so they were understanding and supportive from the start. Prior to his transition Toby was a lot like Cosette in the sense that he wasn't as vibrant as he could've been, and once he realized his true self it was like day and night. Their parents were a bit taken aback at the stark change, but they knew it was for the better (even if their son could be a bit smug at times). Toby's relationship with Ben is quite good, although he likes to playfully tease his father and messes with him on rare occasions. His relationship with Bev, on the only hand, is still good but also quite different. While they do share a playful relationship, he'd rather die than upset his mother. His mother is one of his idols; she's strong, funny, and incredibly talented, and she's one of his favorite people. If Cosette is a daddy's girl for Ben, Toby is definitely a momma's boy for Beverly.
