- Fencer. In her youth she was taught some basic fencing, but never stuck with swordplay.
Magic
- Diviner. The magic of her heritage- she can summon visions of potential futures and plot ways to keep them from coming. Often, visions come to her without prompt. She always seems to have an eerie knowledge of how things will pan out, and gives cryptic warnings as she cannot outright tamper with fate.
- Chronomancer. The second magic of her heritage- she can change the flow of time, move forwards, move backwards, stop it. Doing so, however, puts a great deal of strain on her. She has sworn only ever to use this power to save those she cares the most for.
About
Aretheia is the sort of person who does herself no favours in the way others view her- she cares not for what others think, so she does not try to make herself seem as good a person as she is.
Most know her for being stubborn, blunt, even mean, with quick witty remarks and hard reminders of the truth with very little sugar coating. She doesn't play with words, she doesn't toe about her opinion out of fear she doesn't get poetic. She prefers things this way, and struggles to decode the purple prose that others of her stature use to show off just how well bred they are. If doing things quickly, simply, and quietly give her no credit in the end? It's all fine with her. She knows she is not a bad person, she is not cruel or uncaring as she might have once been.
She is a hard worker, both for herself and others. Her mind always goes to the welfare of those around her before ending up on herself, be they stranger or not. She is a firm believer of repaying debts- whether someone knows those debts exist or not. Her kindness is often done in anonymity, without fanfare, without the ribbons and frills and bells sounding off her glory. Things are fine this way.
She wears a mask- well aware of the hard outer shell she wears which comes off rude, but with dedication it can be worn through and expose the soft hearted lady inside.

Husband
Where he is weak, Aretheia is strong, and where she is weak, he can pick up the pieces. Their relationship was one with a rocky start, but strife has solidified it to a trust that goes beyond words. She is, of all things, willing to put her life and limb in his hands.
Son
Aretheia feels a deep solidarity with the sort of person Robin is- quiet, shy, uncertain of himself... She was that way in her youth, of course. They don't talk much- but they also don't need to, as sitting together in the same room and sharing the same space seems to speak more than words can.
Daughter
Aretheia is happy beyond words with how much Morgan seems to take from Locke. Bubbly, bright, with an aura that brings people to her rather than pushes them away. Morgan has been Aretheia's student for some time, and she couldn't be more proud of her daughter. Knowing that Morgan's powers will one day become even more powerful than her own gives her a strong hope that everything will be alright.
