Creating Fire...

Fire was a redesign of an adoptable I had bought years ago.

Character Development

He was first brought into the story, (to what I can remember), during Crystal's "death"! This wasn't Crystal's canonical death at the time and was only a concept from a storyboard I had done. Fire was portrayed at first to be the villain. He had some slight changes as the story fleshed itself out. There was a time where I had him as a massive ball of anxiety that's constantly on edge-- lashing out at others a lot. Received a lil feedback from some friends and had concluded that keeping Fire as a power-oriented hardhead is the best bet.

I hadn't cared much for Fire until recently after working on Eliza. Fire is the character I despise the most. It was interesting how my anger shifted from Eliza to him instead. I hope that others will be able to learn from Fire and grow as a person. I deeply wish it for everyone who feels related to any of my characters.

Fire is able to push large stones and break logs quicker than others.
He is incredibly slow in certain environments. The weight of snow, mud, water, etc. weighs his fur down extremely.

Mother •

Former Mate •

"She shouldn't have been with us in the first place. She paid little to no attention to Fire then suddenly she was all over him. She stole him from me. It was frustrating to figure out a way to get rid of her since Fire would've been against it. Finding that brown-colored tom with her was a mere coincidence as if it were a sign from the stars themselves. Serves her right."

Daughter •

"She looked just like her. It shocked me when I first met her and how I thought she was Eliza. It didn't take long to notice that they were two different cats, but to think that she was my daughter? It sounded unbelievable, but it felt a bit reassuring to know that I still had someone close by me. Sometimes, it was hard to look at her because of her pelt, but her company was appreciated. Why did I have to lose her too?"

Acquaintance •

"Crystal has been by my side from the moment I joined the group. She's quick on her feet and it always impressed me to see how well she handled problems that others came to her with. I'm not sure when, but it started to seem like she had changed. She started suggesting more and more questionable things and saying it was for the safety of everyone. I trusted her and appreciated her advice, but she took it too far. Judgement had come her way."

Daughter •

"She's able to pull her own weight. There's no need for me to worry about her. I just wished she stopped looking at me with those eys of hers."

Friend •

"He has stood by me since my arrival. Despite his appearance, he has been very loyal as a friend. I wouldn't be able to manage The Group on my own without him. I hope he knows how grateful I am for his work."

Acquaintance •

"I haven't spoken to her that much. She tends to keep to herself in the quietest parts of the camp. It's not that I don't mind it though. I would prefer it if she would do something to help out The Group every so often."

Former Rival •

"We occassionally crossed paths every so often, but I never spoke to him that much. It was until Crystal had come to me about how she saw how often he and Eliza would spend time together. I had assumed he was a good cat for the amount of work he's done for the others. To think he was going after her was unsettling at the time. It was the only way."

Former Rival •

"She was a decent leader. I'll give her that, but she was spineless and keeping others from realizing their true potential. The Group could be so much more without her blocking their potential. It was clear to me how threatening she was to the rest of us."

Second Home •

"It's nowhere near perfect, but it's better than nothing. To think that some of us from different families would live amongst one another sometimes has my fur on edge. We're doing what it takes to survive whether we're different or not. I won't stand by to watch any cat ruin the chance of rebuilding our lives."
