Darya is a Class-S Mage in Fairy Tail and leader of Chess Team that she formed herself, and, as a leader, she represents King Piece. She's from Edolas.

Darya is an slim woman with ocean blue eyes and ombre, black hair with pinkish ends. She has tanned skin and two guild marks - one, on her shoulder, the mark of Chess Warriors, her former, Edolas guild, that was closed due to kingdom turning them into a dark guild and second one, on belly, her Fairy Tail mark.

Darya is a strong and brave leader, who isn;t afraid of taking up the challange. She's really stybborn and she wold never give up before achieving her goal. She's proud and she can't stand being ridiculed. She always wants to be treated seriously, so she gets really mad, when Haruna isn;t listening to her. She's really loyal to her friends.
She likes being a leader and she enjoys giving her friends orders, but she would never take them from anybody, maybe except Fairy Tail's guild master. She's impulsive and usually acts in a heat of the moment, but once she loses, she'll sit for a second, analize everything and come back better prepared and stronger. She has a big sense of honor and she would never do anything that is considered unfair.

Darya was born in Edolas. Her father was a leader of a quite large Magic Guild, Chess Warriors. She was really proud of being his daughter. She trained magic since she was a kid. In guild, everyone treated her with respect, as a daughter of their boss. However, when all guilds were outlawed, due to lack of magic in Edolas. The guild decided to continue to exist, becoming an illegal guild. They were running away from the authorities, until one day, when one of her father's most confidential mage betrayed them - he told the guards where exactly they were going to be. The battle started. She really wanted to take part in it and help her dad. However, it didn't turn out really good - the soldier easily dogded her attack and she almost got killed. Her father saved her, sacrifing himself so she can run away. Her Exceed helped her get out of there. She fainted, and when she woke up, she was laying on the grass in the forest.She was found by Porlyusica, who took her to Fairy Tail.
