Haruna is a class S Mage in Fairy Tail and a member and vice leader of Chess Team. She represents the Queen Chess Piece. Her magic is Takeover - Kitsune Soul - it allows her to transform into and gain abilities of kitsunes she has defeated - they are pretty rare to find, so so far she only has meet one in her life, but it doesn's stop her from her dream to find and defeat the Ninetailed Kitsune.

Haruna is a tall woman with light skin. Her eyes are golden and her pupils - diamond shaped. She has a pretty long blonde hair she wears in two pony tails. She always wears a lot of make-up. When she transforms, her hair grows longer. In her kitsune form, she has three tails and fox ears.

Haruna is a person, who doesn't really care what others thinks about her and she always does what she wants. She never listens to what others tell her and if you ever try to give her orders, you are most likely to get kicked, if you aren't Darya. She's pretty lazy and she has an annoying habit to ignore all types of authorities and rulers. She don't care about anyone position, age or experience. She thinks that most people aren't worth her attention. She's not really trustworthy - if she makes a promise, she usually breaks it, not because she forget, but because she's either too lazy or want to annoy you.

She has a great memory and if she wants, she can be pretty smart. She really hates when somebody tells her what to do. She's not easily angered, but when she is, she won't give up making you regret so easily. She's sassy and ironic.

Even though she may be hard to deal with, she has some great advanteges - she's really loyal and once you become friends with her, she'll do everything to protect you. She hates gossips and can't stand when somebody is talking behind the other one's back. Once she's already doing something, she'll do it really precisely. She's pretty (or way too) honest and she can always give you an accurate opinion. She's a great strategist and she can easily find opponents' weak points.

Both her parents were Phantom Lord Mages. They wanted her to become the great Mage. They really hated Fairy Tail. One day, when when she was a teenager, and she was in her rebellion phase (that apparently never ended) and she was really mad at them she made a quick decision - she ran away from them, travelled to Magnolia and joined Fairy Tail to prove them that they don't have any authority over her. At first, she only wanted to stay there long enough for them to ask her to come back, but as time has passed, she started to enjoy her new guild and every day was fun for her. Fairy Tail was completely different from Phantom Lord, in a really good way. She made friends with Darya and some other Mages. Before she noticed, she made a team with Darya and Ginette. Eventually, she decided to stay.

Her Kitsune form allows her to create big balls of light and fire, she can then throw into her enemies or control with her willpower. She's also able to focus sunbeams into one specific place, starting a fire or temporarily blinding her target. She's also immune to fire magic and temperature change. Her power doesn't really work at night.
