Wolf

Wolf has settled well into his role as leader and has always been more levelheaded than most of his clan-mates. He's extremely secretive though and always shares only what he feels needs to be shared even with those close to him. To the other clans or those that don't know him well he gives off a gruff impenetrable exterior that often comes off as cold or uncaring, but in reality he cares deeply for everyone in his clan even if they're only passing through. While he knows he found his home with the clan he also understands that that life isn't for everyone, Leapclan stands on the edge of what it means to be a clan warrior and the wild loners that might acknowledge the clan but never quite escape their life of solitude and that's not a bad thing. Leapclan was always made to stand on its own apart from the other clans and he's more than willing to help continue that legacy. That also doesn't mean his caring nature stops at the border, while his clan will always be first for him he does have a few close bonds outside twolegplace that can draw him out and if his clan really needs him while he's away Berry can always send a message (or Night can bug him, it's not like Leapclan's guardian spirit will just stand idly if his clan's in danger. Honestly as his history suggests Night'll butt in whenever he feels like it without much regard for proper channels or the rest of Starclan).

Wolf has no memory of his parents and earned his name from the owner of the medicine nest before the clan took him in. After seeing the way most twolegs and even cats looked at him he grew self-conscious about his thin coat and took to spending more time in his shadow state than physical, worried that he was the reason his parents disappeared. The former leader Quakestar wouldn't leave him to dwell long though and frequently tried to draw him out of his shell before finally taking him as an apprentice once he was old enough. He eventually became comfortable enough that he stopped relying on his shadow state to hide away from the world but he remained nervous around the other clans and continued training his control of it to be used at a moment's notice. When Berry joined the clan he finally found a brother that understood what it was like to feel different and abandoned, and the two became almost inseparable even as they walked down different paths. Wolf continued as a warrior and later deputy when the previous passed, training hard to become someone his mentor could be proud of even if no one else cared, and when his mentor reached his last life Wolf took up his mantle to lead the clan the best way he knew how.
