- despite having grown up in blue lakes, he's very much terrified of the water after he seen his best friend drown in the lakes when they were kits.

Bard-singing-in-the-distance
Cracked-shell's best friend, whom he'd lost to the lake. Before his death, cracked-shell and Bard were very close with each other, one would've consider them brothers. Sometimes, Cracked-shell has nightmares about the night that Bard died and as such often avoids sleep because of it, still he can't help but blame himself for not being strong enough to save his best friend so he dedicated his life to save others as a sort of atonement.
A-Manta-ray-long-silver-tail
Cracked-shell has known manta ray for a long time, he hates the older tom and whenever he's not doing his duties as a field medic he's often arguing with Manta. Manta makes fun of Cracked-shell's fear of the water more often than Cracked-shell likes and as a result it often ends with the two in a squabble which quickly turns into a fight. Of course Cracked-shell never won these fights and often returned to his home with some scratches or a swollen eye. He absolutely despises the older tom and if it weren't for Cracked-shell's honor as a field medic. Manta would proably be reciveing more than just a few scratches.
