The Child of the Gods

"Emil is nice! We're all gonna be Emil's friends, okay?"

A rat who won a side bet against fate, where the wager was his own soul.

Victor is Emil's dearest companion. Though he's most often seen as a rat, the crystal hanging on his neck allows him to take the form of a timid yet curious little child. He rarely leaves Emil's side of his own volition. Victor loves biscuits, and often digs around to find Emil's little pouch of biscuits that he keeps for Victor.

As well, Victor is unofficially the 'Rat King', as many rats become his friend and follow Victor around.

Though Victor only wants to be happy with Emil, he sometimes feels a mysterious, sorrowful pull to a place he has never been to before, at the peak of the world...

Skills

Rat King Call

Active skill. When used, up to five rats will come to Victor's aid until they retreat due to damage. The rats are weak and usually run away after one or two attacks.

Little Leader

Passive skill. Dexterity increased by +10 in battle when one or more rats are on the field.

Hunger of Ages

Active skill. When used, Victor and any summoned rats will take on the status 'Starved', dealing more damage per attack. When a party member is Starved, there is a chance they will use their turn to eat a consumable item in the inventory, or attack another party member to heal themselves. Hunger of Ages and Starvation can be cancelled when the afflicted are given food.

Cursed by the Gods

Locked skill. Use unknown, but affects story when mentioned in dialogue.
