Originally from Kalos, newbie Professor Dracaena Dragonblood is a Pokémon researcher who travels around with her partner, Goomy, learning about Pokémon and the different type variations and their weaknesses and super-effectiveness.

She came to Abuva to research and learn more about the pokemon living in what seemed, to the outside world, to be a mystery region with how little is known about it due to the complicated ways to get into it; what she didn't expect was the cold welcome she received as soon as she arrived.

Dragonblood is very diligent in her work and even immerses herself in the habitats and lifestyles of the Pokémon she’s researching. She may look a bit odd when doing so, but she’s gained a lot of information from that investigation style. Because of her dedication to research, she’s got a bit of an airhead, carefree personality and is overall closer to Pokémon than she is to humans, but she values those who she’s friends with. She can and she will adopt you, and is the bonafide mom-friend to everyone. Though, her charisma is very low, so it's likely that the moment she meets anyone younger than her, she'll point at them and loudly proclaim "I'm adopting you!!" ... Turns out most people aren't very appreciative of being forcefully adopted. What a shame.
