Cody showed up at the Colubrid's doorstep in '57 when he was eight.
He had, zero clue where he was from, how he got there, or if he had any family in the area.
All he knew is he needed somewhere to stay. Not knowing his last name, he took the last name Colubrid to be able to put something down on his art and homework.

Cody is horrible at math, he hates it horribly. He's very right brained and loves to paint and draw, being an exceptional painter. He sells his paintings and is able to make quite a bit of money off them and commissions. He likes acrylic, but is also good with water color and oil, though oil is a rare treat given it's expensive as hell.

Though he has no idea where he's from, he can read, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, and Khmer.
This hasn't helped narrow it down in the slightest.

He's close with Piper and Connie, mostly because they help him the most with his homework.
Donovan is very protective of Cody and is trying to help him figure out where the hell he came from.
