One can never take the country away from Hetty, no matter where she may be placed. After all, Hetty spent her entire childhood, as well as her teenage years in the small rural-esque town of Woodhurst. Her upbringing was simple and sweet, her mother and father raising her to be gentle and caring to anyone she met. She enjoyed spending her days after school knitting and crocheting beside her mother on the porch swing, watching the sunset. Even throughout her high school years she much preferred to stay home with her parents rather than hit the town with her friends, even though her parents tried to push her to come out of her shell. Hetty just didn't have as must interest in the fast life, rather she was content taking each day as they came.

Graduating high school was tough for Hetty, the poor girl not the most gifted when it came to academics, but with a bit of support from her teachers and friends, she was able to graduate with her class and step out into the real world. While her friends went on to be successful doctors and the like, Hetty took a more peaceful route, which was not a surprise to her parents. She spent her days up in her bedroom painting and selling her works at the local farmer's markets, helping her aging parents cover the mortgage and bills for the house. Though selling art wasn't the most money-making profession, Hetty enjoyed creating things that made people happy and continues to do so, despite struggling to make ends meet. She has never given up on her passions, and to this day sells her art at the farmer's markets, finding happiness in the smiles of the customers who keep coming back for more.
