Seiko's Links
At first, Seiko was a little jealous of Kegawa. She came from a big, successful clan, was already super strong, and they assumed she could do whatever she wanted. However, it became clearer and clearer to them that she, too, had no say in her future. She was the child of a clan head, so she was expected to become a ninja, and she doesn't even seem to mind. It makes Seiko angry on her behalf.
Seiko makes Kegawa nervous sometimes, because she can't really figure out what they're thinking. But they seem scared, and that makes her nervous. She tries her best to be controlled but friendly, because she really does want to be their friend.
Seiko is lucky to have found Fuyune-sensei, a shinobi willing to teach a mere civilian like them. Through her, they are learning to be effective and ruthless. They feel as if they are becoming stronger under her tutelage, less like a simple person, and more like a sharpened tool.
Seiko is promising, if hindered by their own nerves. Fuyune figures they feel out of place, given their background, which she finds kindof amusing. None of them are from ideal backgrounds, so someday she hopes Seiko will start to feel more at home and get more involved with their fellow students. More than anything, she really has to teach them how to control their genjutsu- it has the potential to be dangerous to themself and others if handled poorly. She doesn't want that for them.
Minori is interesting. Strong, as she should be. They wonder if she was also pushed to become a ninja whether she wanted to or not, like Kegawa.
Seiko is kindof stand-offish, even though they don't have to be. Minori wants to be closer friends with them!
Orutan is a civilian like Seiko, so they find themself relating to her a lot easier than with the others. The two of them have a lot of catching up to do, but that kind of gives Seiko a chance to train with her and just hang out, moreso than anyone else.
Out of everyone, Orutan definitely feels closest to Seiko! It helps so much to have another civilian on the team. Often, Orutan feels dumb for not getting something right away in the group sessions, but training with Seiko calms her down and helps her focus better. Besides, it looks like Seiko could use some company too!
