Antinous is a bit gruff and doesn't talk much. Some mistake him for a mute, when in reality he just doesn't think he ever has anything meaningful to say, so he stays quiet. He appears perpetually tired (and is); he can often be found napping in the middle of the forest, something his friends warn him against as he could easily be robbed by a passing by criminal (or even captured by the Thalmor who're still looking for him). Antinous doesn't seem to care, being a bit nihilist. Due to this, he has a bit of a hard time getting along with others. The residents of Rivercrest like him, and he likes them, but he's so bad at showing his emotions that sometimes others wonder whether they're just nuisances to him.

While he has no problems with fighting most enemies, he absolutely despises trolls; he doesn't seem to want to disclose why, however.

Beginnings

Antinous was born in Rivercrest, Cyrodiil, to a Dunmer (Chimer-blooded) mother (Nalani) and Nord father (Belsvar). He had 4 older step-sisters and 1 older step-brother, all from his father's side. He also had a younger blood sister. Antinous grew used to big crowds and constantly having to babysit, living in this bustling home with 6 siblings and his parents. He was one of the last children to leave home, being so much younger than his step-siblings.

Along with some of his siblings, Antinous was trained in combat by Henrik Seven-Swords, Beslvar's cousin, from a young age.

Life of a Warrior

Belsvar and Henrik suggested that Antinous would make a good soldier for the Empire, so he travelled to the Imperial City in his mid-20s. He joined the Blades and fought with them during the Great War, but was forced to retire, having to go into hiding from the Thalmor.

Blades

By the time Antinous retires as a Blade and returns to Rivercrest in 4e 180, the town was in flames and reduced to a rubble, his parents are dead and so are 3 of his step-siblings. The whereabouts of his 3 other siblings are unknown. The war hadn't been good to Antinous or his family. Antinous worked with another Blade and his old mentor, Henrik Seven-Swords to rebuild the town to its former glory.

Sometime after saving his town from a reawakened Ayleid lich, Antinous contracted Sanies Lupinus and turned into a werewolf.
