☆ Undertaking: Adrian’s day job is a position as a coroner in a small town located near a strangely familiar forest in the north. He acts both as an undertaker and a coroner, handling the embalming and the funeral proceedings, as well as the investigation of the bodies themselves. He’s extremely intelligent and knowledgeable on anatomy, so he can quickly figure out when someone died, and how. He likes to play detective in these scenarios and try to solve the cases by himself if he thinks the detectives on the case aren’t smart enough to do it themselves.

☆ ☆ RNIR: Adrian holds a higher level position in this organization, and acts as Lucilfer’s employer or manager, handling his clients and transferring the important information on to him. He uses the funds for his many experiments, and sometimes takes the “leftovers” from Lucilfer’s missions too. Despite being of higher position, Adrian doesn’t involve himself in the organization much.

”Reanimation”

☆ Adrian’s magic allows him to heal almost any wound! However, the process of healing is extremely painful, and has a risk of going wrong.

☆ To heal a wound, Adrian’s magic functions like this: he puts his paws around and INSIDE the wound, feeling the injury to find out how deep it is, how much damage was done, what was actually damaged, etc... from there, Adrian’s magic works to re-build the damaged area from the ground up.

☆ His paw pads release skin cells that his magic weaves back into the wound, along with blood cells, muscle cells, or whatever kind of cell is needed to heal the wound. This is the painful process of his magic, as Adrian is literally stitching artificially created cells together with the natural cells of the victims’ body. Slowly, the cells are replenished and the wound is filled up, effectively healing it and leaving no sign of the original injury.

☆ However, the dangerous part of Adrian’s magic is that there is a small chance that the victims’ body will reject the magically created cells. If this happens, the wound will become extremely infected- but this would not be a normal infection.

☆ The magical infected cells will invade the normal cells and phagocytize them, until there is nothing left to consume. From the outside, it looks as though the victim is slowly disintegrating from the inside out. Although, the victim normally perishes before that point where the cell disintegration is physically visible from the outside, because the cells can overtake an important organ and cause a malfunction- which kills the victim beforehand. The infection process lasts for a maximum of a month.

☆ The only “cure” for Adrian’s magical infection is an amputation of the infected part before it reaches something important. However, depending on the placement of the original injury, that may not be an option.

☆ On the bright side, once Adrian’s magical cells are accepted by a body, there is no fear of infection because the body will recognize those artificial cells from then on. So, if you’ve been healed once with no complications, you don’t have to worry.

☆ Despite the name of his magic, Adrian cannot bring back the dead. That hasn’t stopped him from trying though- reanimation of the dead is his ultimate goal regarding his magic.

And... he may have just succeeded.

☆ For those who fear Adrian’s magic infection, he typically performs a test to ensure the victim’s safety. He pricks the finger of the client, then heals it with his magic. It’s a small injury, so it only takes a few seconds and barely hurts. If the wound rejects the cells, he simply cuts off the tip of their finger, and points them in the direction of another doctor who could possibly help. If the wound accepts the cells, he proceeds with healing the original injury.

☆ Adrian is a very seclusive individual, refusing to ever talk about himself and instead turns his attention to others. He has a very manipulative personality, having no problem using others as his pedestal to get what he wants.

☆ Despite being manipulative, he does care about others. However, who he cares for is few and far between, and he refuses to say who those “others” are. He keeps his secrets even from those he cares about, but deep inside, he actually does have a soft heart; one that is fragile, so he keeps it safe and hidden. 𝔫𝔒

☆ Adrian is EXTREMELY intelligent, to the point where he’s dangerous to be involved with. He’s always thinking twelve steps ahead, and plans out every detail of his life to flow in the direction he wants it. He’s narcissistic, and often speaks down to people; there are few who he seems worthy enough to speak to on equal grounds.

☆ Adrian never talks about himself, and prefers to talk about other people, even to the point where he insults others to distract them from questions regarding himself. He fears emotional damage, because it’s the one wound he cannot heal, so he distances himself from everyone to avoid such harm. 𝔑𝔬 𝔶𝔬𝔲

☆ None! The scars he wields are from multiple repeat injuries that he kept healing, then reopening, then healing again. His magic typically does not leave a mark, but the injuries he bears are more psychological than physical.

There’s a rather peculiar island I’ve had my eye on for awhile. It’s said that those who inhabit it cannot escape due to a curse that keeps them there... some unfortunate Alkarnabi are rumored to be trapped, and are being slowly killed off by the superior fauna.

I’d normally say how unfortunate for them- but it truly is fortunate for me! The discarded body parts of consumed Alkarnabi are just littered about the island- perfect for my experiments! At least I’m not letting their deaths go to waste.

It appears one of the Alkarnabi was able to escape being torn apart. They’re still dead, but their body is completely intact! Just laying on the beach!

It must be my lucky day.

I’m not sure whether to consider my current experiment a success or an utter failure. I’ve succeeded in using my magic in such a way, that I’ve revived the deceased Alkarnabi I found upon that beach. However, even if he is now revived- he is still technically dead; not the result I wanted. And to make matters worse, said Alkarnabi is incredibly annoying.

He declared his name, Dishi, which I pronounced as Douche, much to his dismay. He keeps claiming that I am now his master, and that he must follow my every order.

It sounds nice on paper, but he’s an idiot. I work alone- others are a distraction. I’m using him to run errands at the moment, but I’ll probably dismantle him when I no longer find him even slightly useful.
