☆ Stabilization

☆ His entire body is made of artificially created cells comprised of Alkarnabi magic; without his current magic ability, “Stabilization”, the bonds holding together his cells would be broken and he would cease to exist. His magic essentially works to create forced bonds between his body cells and maintain these bonds.

☆ Sesshō’s body is constantly constructing and deconstructing itself, struggling to maintain the bonds between the artificial magic cells. When his body is stable, he appears normal. However, when his equilibrium is disturbed, it’s almost like he phases out of reality- then he phases back in once equilibrium is reobtained.

☆ He can (sort of) use this fragile balance to his advantage, and phase through walls or other objects by controlling what parts of his body are stable.

☆ For example: while in stable condition, he puts his paw on a wall. He does not phase through because his atoms are properly bonded. However, let’s say he destabilizes his paw at this moment. The bonds of his paw cells break, allowing the atoms to phase through the wall. His paw is now inside the wall. If he were to stabilize while his paw was still inside, his paw would be pushed out of the wall by the force of the walls’ atoms rejecting his paw.

☆ As of right now, Sesshō has no definitive personality. Since he was only recently created, he doesn’t have any experiences to create a personality off of.

☆ However, Location has noticed that Sesshō is very curious of his surroundings. His mind is like a sponge, just trying to absorb everything around it.

☆ Under normal circumstances, there is no way that Sesshō could exist. However, thanks to a combination of Adrian’s (his creator’s) magic, along with the magic stolen from a deceased Alkarnabi, Sesshō was given life.

☆ Sesshō’s creator has the ability to create artificial cells using his magic, but these cells are essentially copies of already existing cells. He uses his magic to heal wounds, and because the magic cells are copies of the cells already within the wound, the body (typically) doesn’t reject them. Though, this also means that Adrian could not create a individual life-form with his magic cells, as something has to already exist for his magic to work.

☆ This is when Adrian thought to take a few notes from Doctor Frankenstein’s book, and stitch together a body of his own.

☆ His first few tests were all failures. He technically found success with reviving the corpse of Dishi, but it wasn’t the desired result. Dishi was a zombie- he was brought back, but he still wasn’t “alive” as Adrian had intended. Adrian didn’t just want to simply bring back the dead, he wanted to recreate a SOUL.

☆ This is when he began a new form of experimentation, which would end up as a success! Using parts from several dead Alkarnabi, he copied the cells from their stolen body parts, and created an entire stitched-together body using his magic cells, and miraculously, the body gained life. This was Sesshō.

☆ However, Sesshō was only given life because of a extremely rare happenstance. One of the dead Alkarnabi that had been used for his creation had a magic ability of permeation. This magic allowed the previous Alkarnabi to phase their cells through solid objects; by having their atoms shift between the atoms of the object they wanted to pass through.

☆ This ability, which remained embedded in the cells of the dead Alkarnabi, translated over to Sesshō’s new body, creating flexible bonds between the magic cells that could phase through other cells, yet still remain bonded.

☆ In that moment where the two types of magic, Adrian’s and the dead Alkarnabi’s, collided- a new magic was formed that gave life to Sesshō; his stabilization.

☆ This newly formed magic ability, created as a mesh of the two previous abilities, allowed for a blank artificial soul to be created for the host body; and thus, Sesshō was born.
