Nessa

Nessa only exists in the world of Xenoblade Chronicles X at the moment, but it’s important to note that she’s technically Pongo’s twin sister in this universe. She was created by Mira after Pongo was taken out of commission due to mysterious circumstances and was tasked with finding him. She lives for a good while in NLA, uncovering intel while making a slew of new friends, but she lived with the fact that she would die after Pongo was found, since the planet couldn’t sustain them both at the same time. She never regrets her decision to go through with finding and restoring Pongo, and yet her time on Mira was short, much to her friends’ sorrow.

Nessa is a lot like her brother in that she’s very upbeat and optimistic. She’s more knowledgeable about human traditions and is more sociable than Pongo. Her natural charm earns her many friends right off the bat. She does tend to flirt with people she’s friendly with, but only because she likes to tease. In battle she’s extremely quick on her feet and tends to use her speed and dexterity to her advantage, unlike most of her hard-hitting division. She has an inferiority complex when she’s comparing herself to her brother, but she hides it under a false layer of confidence.
