Appearance: Em's height is taken from both sides of her heritage, averaging out from her human and halfling half at 4'1. She has a stocky body type and is quite densely built, wide but not chubby or particularly curvy. She has dark brown skin and freckles under her eyes and across her nose. Her eyes are very dark brown. She wears her hair in shoulder length thick locs, with shorter ones framing her face as a fringe. The end of each of her locs is dyed sky blue, she's tried different colours but this is by far her favourite. She has no tattoos or piercings but often has a few scrapes on her arms and legs form skating or climbing things she shouldn't. She wears masculine over sized clothing, often lovingly stolen from Del and sometimes modified without his knowing before it falling back into his hands. So many white tshirts of his are now tie-dyed. She also is nearly always wearing surfer jewelry made of wood, leather and shells.

Personality: Em is the brains behind the operation. She has both the musical intelligence and common sense that the whole band relies on for survival and is deeply creative. She does sometimes come across as controlling or snappy if things start to fall apart, but she's usually worth listening to. This isn't to say she isn't fun, she's highly competitive and always comes up with the best dares, bets and contests,  
She has very poor emotional object permanence but loves deeply, she just often needs a lot of reassurance and affirmations from partners and friends.

Background/Family: Em grew up as childhood friends with Paeri since her dad was a friend of the Loudsong family. When she was 13 her parents separated and she lived with her human mother, not seeing Paeri again until Paeri left home and they reunited by happy accident. She has a good relationship with both her parents but she doesn't get to see her dad as often as she'd like. She's an only child. 

Skills/Hobbies: Music might by Em's favourite thing in the world, but she's surprisingly sporty. If not writing or practicing, she likes to be moving. She loves skating, surfing and climbing but happens to be quite accident prone at all three but she'll show off every scrape she earns because its always after the sickest trick. She loves any kind of competition, especially with Del where she'll race him or play fight him or bet with him over nearly anything. This includes their matches of smash melee, Em mains Yoshi. She loves frogs a lot, they're her favourite animals. She can play guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, drums, cello, kalimba, piano, and harp. Banjo is her favourite, and Theo as a trumpet player is technically the only member she needs. The rest are on thin ice.

If she's sulking she tends to sit on top of the van, the band often call to her like a cat stuck in a tree but shes not stuck. She's mad.
If she gets a weird idea it takes her approximately 24 hours to go full blown tin foil hat conspiracy theorist over it
